Appearance: Dr. Kethric Wilcox is a tall and slender man of middle years. He is more towards the beautiful side human appearance. (The Japanese term bishonen* applies here.) His appearance and mannerisms often leave his critics wondering about him. Dr. Wilcox stands six feet tall, has piercing ice-blue eyes, and silver hair (originally black but changed in a psionic healing session). Kethric often wears his hair in an elaborate series of braids that leave it at mid waist length, when loose is hair hangs to his knees. His braids are often entwined with strands of jet crystals and or sapphires. Kethric wears loud colored clothing often in clashing color schemes tending to favor blues and oranges.

Personality: Dr. Wilcox is a cool customer and will attempt to talk his way out of danger. As a physician he has a very gentle bedside manner that calms even the most nervous of patients. He carefully opposes the limits Psi-Corps has placed on his telepathic treatment of mundanes and actively supports the Underground Railroad.

Family:The Corps is Mother, the Corps is Father to Kethric these days. Kethric Wilcox was born to Edward and Sylvia Wilcox on Proxima III a few years before the Dilgar War. Edward Wilcox was a staunch preacher and his wife Sylvia a civilian physician with a small practice. When his mother during a routine physical first discovered Kethric's telepathic abilities, she hid the results not wishing to loose her only child. Kethric was taught that his abilities were a gift from God and used them to help his father in his evangelical revivals. It was during one of these revivals that Kethric suffered the accident that changed his hair from black to silver. This was also the moment that Psi-Corps discovered him. He was taken to Mars and trained in the use of his talents and trained in medical science since his talents seemed to lie in that direction. Kethric was discovered to be a powerful mind healer.

Interests/Hobbies: Dr. Wilcox enjoys the 20th century entertainment known as anime (animated features from Japan) and has an extensive collection on data crystals. Dr. Wilcox also tends to many charity cases not connected with Psi-Corps and has been known to help a wounded pet or two along the way.

Previous History: Dr. Wilcox grew up in the middle class section of the main colony dome on Proxima III and lived with his parents until his strong telepathic abilities were discovered by the Psi-Corps. He has a strong upbringing in the Evangelical Christian Faith of the Wandering Revivalist Sect.

He was known in his youth as a faith healer and this still plays a role in his treatment of his patients. It was during one of his sessions as a faith healer that he suffered an accident that turned his hair from black to silver and lead to his discovery by Psi-Corps. He has spent his life since his discovery by Psi-Corps in the Commercial branch medical division. The majority of his patients however are Psi-Cops damaged in field operations.

The first of his patients was a young and rising Psi-Cop named Alfred Bester. Bester had suffered a severe brain burn bringing down a rogue wanted for the murder of his mentor. Kethric had just finished his residency and was the doctor on duty when Bester was brought in. Kethric risked his own mind to save the Psi-Cop's life and mind. During the delicate work Kethric learned more about the Psi-Cop then he would have wished but he also gained a Psi-block powerful enough to block a P-12 for over an hour.

Because of his looks Dr. Wilcox, has often been the target of many unwanted passes and even a few attempted muggings. Only his Psi-Corps pin and gloves have saved him from real harm.
