In Loving Memory...

This page is for my dad...he was more than just my Dad.
I always felt safe when my dad was around...and always knew
that he could take care of anything...my hero! I could
always go to my Dad...I liked hearing all his fishing and
hunting stories, and just talking with him...my friend.
My dad tought me alot...how to ride my first bike, how to check
the oil in my car, how to bake potatoes *l* and
plenty more to numerous to name...but most of all he taught me
how to love. My Mom and Dad were married for 29 years
and had four children...and I seen the love in
their eyes for each other and felt the love for all of us
everyday of his life...and that taught me more that words
can express.
For those I love and those who love me:
When I am Gone release me…let me go,
for I have so many things to see and do.
You must not tie yourself to me with tears,
Just be happy that we had so many beautiful years.
I gave you my love,
You can only guess how much happiness you gave to me.
I thank you for the love we have shown,
But now it is time…I travel on alone.
So grieve a little while for me, if grieve you must,
then let your grief be comforted by trust,
It is only for a short time that we must be apart,
Hold now, the memories within your heart.
I won’t be far away, for life goes on;
If you need me, "call me" and I will come.
Although you can’t see me or touch me, I’ll be near,
and if you listen with your heart, you’ll hear all my love
around you,
soft and clear.
When the time comes to walk this way alone,
I’ll greet you with a smile and say "Welcome Home"
