My Seventh-day Adventist Page

Hello, I just wanted to let you know that I am a Seventh-day Adventist, and I am not ashamed or afraid to be one. I was baptised into the Seventh-day Adventist faith on October 23, 1999 under no pressure from anyone around me. I had gone to a Prophecy Seminar in September 1999 and really got moved and touched in my heart which led to my decision of becoming a Seventh-day Adventist Member. I have, in the past several months, since my baptism into the SDA faith, noticed a lot of changes in my life for the better as well as the ups and downs of being different. I am not ashamed of being different or afraid to be different - just all my life I have always known what it is like to be different from other people in the world. I can not quite explain my reason for becoming a Seventh-day Adventist any other way than how it is presented here at this time. I will not push my faith/beliefs onto anyone who is not a Seventh-day Adventist or Sabbath Keeper because I am not that kind of person. I am, in a personal sense, proud of my decision of finding truth in my heart and becoming the person I am today. I have many friends in the SDA churches and those friends will remain in my heart and life forever. Christ is my friend and Savior as always - it just happened that I got to know him in a more personal way when I attended the Prophecy Seminar back in September.

I do have to admit that my world is now different from what I lived before - it is definitely not any easier for me than it was before, either. I am now a SDA member and I am different from other people - I stick out a little more because I don't do the worldly things I once did before (as much or not at all). A friend of mine, Nellie "Mom 2" told me many times that, "we live in this world, but we don't need to be of it." - doing the worldly things like - going to the movies, which is a good example.

Before you judge the Seventh-day Adventist Church, People, Faith, down below is information about the Seventh-day Adventists.

About the
SEVENTH-DAY ADVENTISTS

Who are the Seventh-day Adventists?

They're CHRISTIANS who are members of the Seventh-day Adventist Church. Seventh-day Adventists are people who take great joy in living according to Christ's example oof sacrifice and humility.

The Bible (both old and New Testaments) provide the basis for these beliefs.

What I just shared with YOU is information that tells you who we are and what we believe in. There is so much information about the Seventh-day Adventist people, faith, and church that it would be a lot of information to keep in mind. If you would like to learn more about the SDA church, family, and faith, please use your favorite search engine and type in Seventh-day Adventist and you will get more links to look at and read.

I have only been in the Seventh-day Adventist faith for a short time and I am still learning and experiencing God and Jesus in a new, beautiful light. Again, I am NOT ashamed or afraid to share my beliefs or faith with other people. I do consider myself different from other people most of my life and I will remain different from others no matter where I go, turn, and believe. Thank you so much for visiting this special page. May God bless you all!
