um....yeeeaaahhh.... |
 IF one could only use one word to describe Eddie Izzard, it would
have to be "fantabulous." Now, before you go running off to consult your Scrabble dictionary, until Mr.
Izzard came along there was no such word, but by the same token, until he came along, there was nothing like
him, either. And the world was a poorer place for it. But now we are fortunate enough to have him in all
his vibrant colors, opening our minds with his philosophies while splitting our sides with his humour. A comedic
descendant of the Goons and the Pythons, Eddie has taken Britain by storm and is currently on the path to
conquering the US as well. He's even travelled to such desolate comedic wastelands as France and brought his
unique style to the French masses in their own language. Pourquoi?, you may well ask. Just because he
can....
This site is not designed to be all-inclusive; there's no way it could be. It is merely a portal to the enchanted world
of Eddie Izzard, a land where small yapper type dogs with emporic names are just not happy with their wash, and
where deities sound an awful lot like James Mason. Come on in, but before you do, we just have to ask: CAKE OR

 Eddie's latest film, Shadow of the Vampire, opened yesterday
throughout the States. Both the film and Eddie have been getting good reviews, and the outlook for Eddie's blossoming acting career is good! Check the EDDIE NEWS for this and

 Eddie Izzard: This is the official website of Eddie Izzard. Here you can find exclusive bios, pics, news, and merchandise of our great Izzard king, plus a bunch of other neat stuff too, like a
messageboard and an add-on storybook, even a place where you can sign up for Eddie-based listserves at
YahooGroups. Eddie himself swings by on occasion, whenever he's got time (James Mason only knows
when that is!) Just an overall cool site for an incredibly cool persona. |
 Cake or Death?: Another fantastico website; Lyn is an absolute genius! Relatively new to Eddie? Check out the sections on "The Man" and "The Myth," but don't
forget "The Shoes"! This site has an incredible archive of articles on Eddie's doings over the past few years, and
the news section is always covering the latest breaking news. A lot of the images that you'll find on this site have
been culled from the wonderous amounts of cool stuff on the "Cake or Death" site, so mad props to Lyn for a
terrific site! Highly recommended! |
