- Time is a fleeting moment, a moment that shall pass
Into forever if we don't take it and make it last
I want to live forever yet also live for today
Time is too precious to waste, most people say
Yet waste it people always manage to do
Waiting for something, for what, they never knew
To children it seems; time stands still
To adults, it goes so fast, it's unreal
The moments with you, go so very fast
I want them to last and last and last
An hour seems like a minute, just sixty seconds
Not enough time to be together just us
But when you're not here, not around at all
It's all reversed, one minute is one hour as I wait for your call
Time is unbearable then, I'm unable to wait
I watch the clock,as it ticks, hoping you won't be late
Why is it time is so unpredictable?
Fast one minute, slow the next, it's very undependable
For a moment is lost, once it's gone, lost forever
Even though it's fast when we're together, lets make it last till never!!
