Superstitions...


      What, exactly, are superstitions?

      Are they fake?

      Or are they real?

      Superstitions are told over the years since ancient times. And because of that, I'll put some in too.

      Here they are, in ABC order...

      Apples: Take an apple a day, keep the doctor away.

      Bed: You must get out of bed the same side that you got on. Not doing so will endurse bad luck.

      Bells: The sound of a bell will keep demons away.

      Bird: A bird in the house means death is coming soon.

      Bridge: If you say your goodbyes to a friend on a bridge, you will never see each other again.

      Cat: If a black cat crosses your path, you have have bad luck.

      Cigarettes: It is bad luck to match 3 cigarettes with the same match.

      Clocks: If a broken clock suddenly chimes, it means a death will occur soon.

      Clovers: If you find a 4 leaf clover, you have have great luck.

      Dreams: If you dream of fish, someone you know is pregnant.

      Fork: If you drop a fork, a man will visit you soon.

      Frogs: Which ever house a frog enters, good luck will be brought with it.

      Funerals: Nothing new should be worn to a funeral, especially shoes.

      Mirror: To break a mirror means 7 years of bad luck.

      Mistletoe: A girl standing under a mistletoe cannot refuse a kiss by anyone.

      Rabbits: A rabbit's foot placed inside a pocket will endurse good luck.

      Tongue: If you bit your tongue while eating, that means you have recently told a lie.

      X: The numbers of X's on your right palm is the number of how many kids you'll have.
