      Here I go again, bring you more chilling (and not so chilling) superstitions!

      Birth  Monday's child is fair of face;

               Tuesday's child is full of grace;

               Wednesday's child is full of woe;

               Thursday's child has far to go;

               Friday's child is loving and giving;

               Saturday's child works hard for a living.

               But the child that is born on the Sabbath day is fair and wise, good and gay.

      Blue:Wear a blue bead to protect yourself from witches.

      Bride:In Ireland, a bride put 6 pence in her shoes for good luck..

      A bride wears something new, old and blue for good luck

      It's bad luck for the bride and groom to see each other before the actual wedding.

      Broom:Never take a broom with you when you move. Throw it out and buy a new one.

      Do not lean a broom against a bed. The evil spirits will cast a spell on the bed.

      Butterfly:If the first butterfly you see in a year is white, you will have good luck all year.

      To see three butterflies together means good luck.

      Candles:If a candle that are lighted for a ceremony blows out, it is a sign that evil spirits are near by.

      Cats:To keep a dead one from coming back, keep cats away from jumping on the decreased one.

      Cemetery:If you are walking by a cemetery, be sure to hold your breath. If you don't, you will breathe in the spirit of someone that has recently died.

      Circle:If you stand inside a circle, evil spirits cannot hurt you.

      CrackStep on a crack, break your mother's back.

      Cricket:If a cricket hops in the house, you have have good luck.

      Dead person:If a decreased person's left eye is opened, he/she will take someone with him.

      If a woman is buried in black, she will come back to haunt the family.

      The soul of a dead one will not be able to reach heaven if the house is locked.

      You will have bad luck if you do not stop the clock in the room where a person has died.

      Ears:If your right ear itches, someone is talking well about you, while the left ear means someone is speaking ill about you.

      Eyelash:If an eyelash falls out, put it on the back of the hand, make a wish and throw it over your shoulder. If it flies off the hand the wish will be granted.

      Ladder:If you walk under a ladder, you will have bad luck.

      Pennies:If you pick up a penny, you will have good luck all day. If you give that penny to a friend, you will both share the luck. Photograph:If someone takes a photograph of another, it is believed that a part of the soul is taken.

      Salt:If you spill salt, be sure to toss some over your left shoulder, for the demons are there watching.

      Ships:Any ships that sails on friday will have bad luck.

      Shirt:If you wear your shirt inside out you'll have good luck.
