My Beloved Mother

"I love and miss you Mom"

My mother taught me one important thing,
no matter how sick she was
or how much suffering and pain she felt,
she always looked to God.
She was an example to all of us.
Her work here was done
and he took her home
to where she is no longer going
to shed any tears or feel anymore pain.

I will miss her so much,
but she really is not going to be gone.
I will treasure all of our fond yesterdays that we shared and spent together.
The special moments and memories will never fade,
they will always be in my heart today and forever more.
I will not say goodbye
for I know that she will be waiting for me at heavens gate.

FADE INTO DARKNESS
The light in your eyes gleams no more,
your rosie cheeks have turned pale.
Your warm wrinkled hands, now ice cold.
Your smile no longer has expression,
you are now ready to begin your flight.
Your soul has been set free,
ahead you see the light.
The time has come to fade into darkness.
The sun sets in the western horizion.
all that is left are the stars and moon.

I would like to thank a very special friend of mine, for taking the time to scan the pictures of my mother for me. You have no idea how much it meant to me.
THANK YOU STEVEN
