My Rose Garden
In my garden there blooms a rose
Encircled by thistle and wildflowers
She stands alone and untouched
Many pass by admiring her beauty
Inhaling her fragrant sweet smell, but from a distance
Fearing they may bleed if pricked by her thorns
Giving off a rainbow
As the sun caresses her silky petals
Moisten by the morning dew
Tiny wings flutter around her
Tickling her delicate petals
Butterflies softly touching her petals
With gentle butterfly kisses
Along comes a mild and warm rain
Showering her with unconditional love
