To make game play easier and more fun, please read the following TrivBot commands and tips.
TrivBot randomly selects between Solo and Teams so some of the commands are not applicable.

Triv 1 will join you to team 1. Triv 2 will join you to team 2. Triv q will display the current question. Triv num will display the number of players on each team. Triv teams will display the players' names on each team. Triv scores will display the current scores. Triv server will display what server TrivBot is using. Triv help will ask TrivBot to message you with help on playing the game. Triv name 1 The Magpies will name Team 1 The Magpies. Stats will display your stats for the current game.

..........Some Helpful Tips..........

Joining a team:
Type "triv 1, or triv 2" to join the team of your choice. Make sure there is a space between "triv" and the team number. If for some reason you wish to change teams during game play, you may do so by retyping this command.

Answering questions:
Just type in your answer with no preface. Answers must match TrivBot's exactly, and spelling must be correct.

Name answers:
Unless otherwise stated, answers requiring a name of a person should always include both christian and surnames. If the answer is Richard Nixon, just typing Nixon will not be accepted as correct.

Number answers:
Always require the numeral to be typed, for example "3", not "three."

If you think your answer is correct, but TrivBot is not acknowledging it, try typing it a different way. For example, if you typed "hockey" and TrivBot did not credit you with a correct answer, try "ice hockey," or "field hockey."
