Big Pun obviously was a great mc with huge hits like "Still Not A Player" and "I'm Not A Player" and lyrically strong cuts like "The Dream Shatterer" and "Super Lyrical". Yeeeah Baby was released around the time of his death, it was obvious Big Pun's weight made him a lazy mc with an album that wasn't up to his caliber.

The album has pretty good production, but Pun doesn't sound as good on the mic and on "Ms. Martin" he doesn't even rap, it's Remi Martin who stands out on the DJ Shok produced track. Pun did make some excellent tracks like "Leather Face" and "100%" two of the best songs. "Leather Face" is a perfect example of what Big Pun did to mc's. "Laughing At You" and "My Dick" are not bad tracks, but it was obvious Pun didn't put much work into these tracks as R&B homey Tony Sunshine sings a big part of these songs.

Overall, it's too bad Big Pun didn't get to rap longer, but he was just too big. Capital Punishment was his best piece of work. Yeeeah Baby has its moments, but Pun didn't put as much work into this effort.

Top 3 Songs:

1. Leather Face

2. 100% w/Tony Sunshine

3. New York Giants w/M.O.P.
