4 Mics

The second installment of Nas' double album Nastradamus isn't as great as I Am..., but he does have some more excellent lyrics and beats mostly done by L.E.S. and Dame Grease. Everybody has to realize the Illmatic days are over and open there eyes up to a new mc.

Lyrically Nas is very sharp and creative again check "Last Words" where Nas raps as a prison cell with Nashawn. Nas hooks up with DJ Premier again with "Come Get Me" an excellent song where you can see shades of Illmatic. "Nas Is Like" was a better song though. "Project Windows" with Ron Isley is a very soulful song as Nas raps about looking out Project Windows with Ron Isley providing the soul. Nas also hooks up with Mobb Deep on "Family" and the Havoc produced "Shoot 'Em Up".

Nas only makes mistakes looking for commercial success with "Nastradamus", which features a singing hook that makes you want to puke. "You Owe Me" with Ginuwine and produced by Timbaland is also a mistake. Overall Nastradamus is another great disc from Nas, people just get there hopes up for another Illmatic.

Top 3 Songs:
