Go Back 2 The Hip Hoperation or our Top 30 Unreleased Songs
This is a new section reviewing unreleased songs. Once an album they appear on comes out we will rip down the review. We review a song from a hip hop site that we heard it and give you the link to go to the site that has the song. We have been acknowledged by all the sites that we review songs from that we do this. If you want us to review a song e-mail me. We only give you a review of the song if the site has it in excellent audio. I only count these songs released if they've been on an album.

112. Krupt Mob - Na Mean - Production Unknown
I don't know pretty much anything about these guys, but I do like their style. They handle the mic quite well and flow really well with the beat. All their voices are nice, that's one thing that they have that helps them out the most. The song is a good start for them.

111. Nature and Nas - The Ultimate High - Production Unknown
I don't know who does the beat on this song, but I love it. It's one of those beats that you just have to pump in your speakers while you're driving down the highway. Nature handles 3/4's of the song and Nas uses his clever metaphors to spark the song. Check it out for sure.
Thumbs Up - Go to Gotcha Open Radio to listen to this song
110. Canibus - Phuck U - Production Unknown
Another song from Canibus' new album. This song will remind you much of "One" by Ghostface Killah where in both cases of these songs they rip a great beat and have someone saying something in the background while they rap with the word, but never actually say the word themselves. Very impressive song, and part of his first single. Pick it up.
Thumbs Up - Go to Gotcha Open Radio to listen to this song
109. Royal Flush - Section Eight - Production Unknown
Royal Flush is back on the scene repping a new album that should be coming out this year. If this is the first song we're hearing off of it, I'm excited. Royal flushes the competition away with this really nice track.
Thumbs Up - Go to Gotcha Open Radio to listen to this song
108. Canibus - Mic-Nificent - Production by Daniel "Danny P" Pierre
Canibus returns with "Mic-Nificent" which is just that. The beat is raw just like fans of Canibus want him to do and his lyrics are on point. "2000 B.C." I thought was a better song, but this is excellent too so check it out.
Thumbs Up - Go to Gotcha Open Radio to listen to this song
107. Killah Priest - Hard Times - Production Unknown
This is easily the best song I've heard from Killah Priest off his new album. The beat is different from what he usually does and we all know he has great lyrics so he just rips the beats. Make sure you check out this song as I'm sure most people will like it.
Thumbs Up - Go to Gotcha Open Radio to listen to this song
106. Ruthless Bastards - Misery, Pain & Hunger - Production Unknown
I haven't heard much from the Ruthless Bastards, but what I've heard from them I've liked and I thought this song was the shit. Yes I know there's new Eminem and Canibus songs on here, but this song is on the same level as them so check it out.
Thumbs Up - Go to Gotcha Open Radio to listen to this song
105. Eminem - The Real Slim Shady - Production Unknown
Eminem's first real official release from his new album. The video for this song will be fun to see, as Eminem rips lots of people like Christina Aguilera and Britney Spears. The song is great and I like it more then "My Name Is" so it's showing Eminem's off to a good start for his new album. Don't look for the single of this though, all of the songs are supposed to appear on his album, before any singles or anything like that.
Thumbs Up - Go to Eminem 2000 to listen to this song
104. Eminem - Our House - Production Unknown
"Our House" is a pretty funny song as Eminem gets locked outside and wants back in, but his mom won't let him back in. Him and his mom fight over everything and it uses the chorus "Our house, in the middle of the street", which made the song even funnier. This will probably be on his album too.
Thumbs Up - Go to Eminem 2000 to listen to this song
103. Eminem - Kim - Production Unknown
I've listened to hip hop pretty much my whole life and this is has easily got to be one of the craziest rap songs of all time. Eminem shows how crazy he can be over this cool beat. It might be a little too nuts for some people, but I think it is a great song and it will be on his new album
Thumbs Up - Go to Eminem 2000 to listen to this song
102. Dilated Peoples and Defari - The Main Event - Production Unknown
Some people don't like track as much as the other tracks, but I think this track may be the best song I've heard from Dilated Peoples. The beat is just so blazing it would burn the sun, and the way these guys work the beat is amazing. Check this song out for sure.
Thumbs Up - Go to Da Mad Rapper's Web Site to listen to this song
101. Dilated Peoples and B-Real - No Retreat - Production Unknown
This song is good, maybe not as great as "Eardrums Pop", but it is banging and pretty crazy. They rip up the track and bring out B-Real from Cypress Hill to show who's the boss and B-Real works great with the beat so it's a good way to end the song.
Thumbs Up - Go to Da Mad Rapper's Web Site to listen to this song
100. Dilated Peoples - Eardrums Pop - Production Unknown
Dilated Peoples are one group that no one should dismiss as they just have that great style that shows why their album is going to be crazy sick. This song is excellent as they show why they probably will have one of the best albums of the year. Look out for these guys, cause their kicking ass right now.
Thumbs Up - Go to Da Mad Rapper's Web Site to listen to this song
99. Sporty Thievz - La La - Production by DJ Quik
Sporty Thievz are already back and I'm glad because these guys didn't get the proper treatment from all the hip hop fans out here. These guys are great and show it on this song, killing the track as you hear "la la" in the background the whole song. I like this song a lot check it out.
Thumbs Up - Go to Gotcha Open Radio to listen to this song
98. OPE (O-Asiatic) - I'm Fed - Production Unknown
I never heard of this guy before, but he shows that he is an mc that needs to be heard. He comes ferociously on the mic and the hook sounds like the hook from "The Edge" by RBX. I hope everyone checks out this song, because this guy has some talent and needs to be heard.
Thumbs Up - Go to Gotcha Open Radio to listen to this song
97. Wyclef Jean - Fugee This, Fugee That - Production Unknown
Well this is the first single off of Wyclef's new album and all I have to say is it is great. The beat is pretty cool as Wyclef tells what has really happened to the Fugees. On the hook he is pretty much saying if Lauryn Hill or Pras is out there somewhere to phone him, because he's in the studio and wants to settle their differences. A good way to start off his album if I must say.
Thumbs Up - Go to Gotcha Open Radio to listen to this song
96. Next and 50 Cent - Jerk - Production Unknown
This is the normal type of track from Next, something you'd hear from a group like BlackStreet. 50 Cent makes it sound pretty nice as he was made for the song the way he's been jerking all these rappers around. Anyways I think you'll like this song if you were into songs like "No Diggedy" by BlackStreet, Dr. Dre and Queen Pen.
Thumbs Up - Go to Gotcha Open Radio to listen to this song
95. DJ Quik, Erick Sermon and KAM - U Ain't Fresh - Production by DJ Quik
DJ Quik brings out a banging song cutting down Dr. Dre, and kind of just the whole idea of N.W.A. I think Quik thinks is stupid. Erick Sermon he's just spitting some lyrics to help out Quik, and then KAM comes in cutting down Ice Cube again so the song is pretty much a diss to N.W.A..
Thumbs Up - Go to Snoop's Dogghouse to listen to this song
94. Easy Mo Bee featuring Kurupt and Da Nation - Shit Goin' Down Tonite - Production by Easy Mo Bee
Another song off of Easy Mo Bee's new album and this song is just plain excellent. I'm not sure what the names are of Da Nation members, but they do a great job. Kurupt grabs the mic and treats it like a super soaker spraying lyrics everywhere and getting everyone wet. What can I say, great song.
Thumbs Up - Go to Snoop's Dogghouse to listen to this song
93. Easy Mo Bee featuring Snoop Dogg and Glaze NY - Sound Of My Heart - Production by Easy Mo Bee
This song will be featured on Easy Mo Bee's Odyssey 2000: Now Or Never and I thought it was good as it's kind of a song like "Dooinit" by LL Cool J and LeShawn as the two spit back and forth about getting in each other's pants. I thought Snoop's last verse was great, because he came rough like he used to.
Thumbs Up - Go to Snoop's Dogghouse to listen to this song
92. Lil' Kim - How I Feel - Production Unknown
This song has a nice beat and not raunchy like lots of Lil' Kim's songs. Has a lot to do about The Notorious B.I.G., on the hook saying now that B.I.G.'s gone who's going to write my lyrics. Anyways I feel this is a pretty good song, and it will probably end up on her album.
Thumbs Up - Go to Aka to listen to this song
91. Swizz Beatz and Sheek - Show Y'all - Production by Swizz Beatz
Swizz Beatz first comes off with a cool beat on "Show Y'all" as he isn't the greatest producer on the mic but his voice is okay. Then Swizz flips the script for Sheek's part and it's just great. Sheek rips the beat saying pretty much fuck everything even himself. This will be on Ruff Ryders Documentary so check it out when it comes out.
Thumbs Up - Go to Aka to listen to this song
90. Shyne - Aim & Squeeze - Production Unknown
Maybe this isn't the best name for a song for Shyne to release right now, but anyways this is probably my favorite track from Shyne that I've heard solo as he doesn't sound so much like B.I.G. and I hate how he sounds like him on most songs. Anyways Shyne does pretty good on this song and the beat is okay so check it out.
Thumbs Up - Go to Aka to listen to this song
89. Donell Jones, 50 Cent, Xzibit, Pharoahe Monch, Cuban Link and Fat Joe - "You Know What's Up (Remix) - Production Unknown
The remix of "You Know What's Up" is nice as all the mc's rip up the beat when they have the chance to and Donell Jones is very nice as he does the chorus and shows his unity with hip hop artists.
Thumbs Up - Go to Snoop's Dogghouse to listen to this song
88. Tash, Kurupt, Snoop Dogg and Xzibit - G's Is G's (Remix) - Production Unknown
The likwit crew meets the dogg pound on "G's Is G's (Remix)" as Tash and Xzibit show the dogg pound what the likwit crew's all about, and the dogg pound don't disappoint as Kurupt dismantles the beat and Snoop Dogg was made for this beat.
Thumbs Up - Go to Snoop's Dogghouse to listen to this song
87. Pharoahe Monch and Xzibit - Right Here (Remix) - Production Unknown
Two of the best mc's in the game collaborate on "Right Here (Remix)" and it is pretty much a lyrical battle. I love both guys and I think Xzibit really shows his skills on the second verse of the song totally destroying it and Pharoahe Monch surgically removes the word wack out of hip hop with his verses on this song.
Thumbs Up - Go to Snoop's Dogghouse to listen to this song
86. Shabaam Sahdeeq - 3D - Production Unknown
Shabaam Sahdeeq has been showing up lots lately with new songs with his album coming out soon with "3D". Shabaam says even when he's in 3D people still can't see him over this beat that has lots of energy that is gives Sahdeeq's album an extra leap.
Thumbs Up - Go to Aka to listen to this song
85. Sauce Money - Intruder Alert - Production by DJ Premier
This song has been floating around for a long time and will finally show up on his debut album Middle Finger U. With production from DJ Premier, Sauce Money does a great job flowing over Premier's beat which is just outstanding.
Thumbs Up - Go to Aka to listen to this song
84. Mad Skillz - Sick With This - Production by Timbaland
Maybe it's because Mad Skillz is from a different part of the States then pretty much every other rapper, but he's got this great flow that is just plain impressive. The way he attacks beats and how the beats cling to his lyrics shows Skillz is the man and Timbaland can handle production.
Thumbs Up - Go to Aka to listen to this song
83. Natural Elements - The Promo - Production Unknown
This track features a beat I think I've heard before with what I think is saxophones, the Natural Elements show why this is the real promo. These guys have great skills and voices that are nice to hear. I don't know if this has came out yet, but hopefully it ends up on something.
Thumbs Up - Go to Aka to listen to this song
82. Montage One and Xzibit - Larger Than Life - Production by DJ Rectangle
Xzibit brings his man Montage One to the front on "Larger Than Life" showcasing how great Montage One really is. Over a nice beat that's different from the beats we've been hearing lately I am very pleased to hear something from Montage One after hearing him on Xzibit's album. This will end up on Rap's New Generation for sure.
Thumbs Up - Go to Gotcha Open Radio to listen to this song
81. Black Rob, Rah Digga, Lil' Cease, G-Dep, Da Brat, Beanie Sigel, Puff Daddy, Shyne, and The Madd Rapper - Whoa! Remix - Production Unknown
If there was a remix that you have to hear it's this song right here. Whoa! Remix is ten rappers strong more of an anthem then a song. Personally I thought Madd Rapper rips everybody on the track except maybe Beanie Sigel, Rah Digga and Black Rob.
Thumbs Up - Go to Gotcha Open Radio to listen to this song
80. Memphis Bleek - To The Fullest - Production Unknown
I like Bleek's style on this track as he seems to come better on songs that are less violent and more about himself. This song will be on his new album for sure and hopefully it's better then his solo debut.
Thumbs Up - Go to Aka to listen to this song
79. Ali Vegas and Capone - Gangsta's Life - Production Unknown
This song is okay from these two mc's, but I've heard pretty much all of Ali Vegas' album and this is one of my least favorite songs on the album. The song is good still, showing that Vegas' album is going to be great.
Thumbs Up - Go to Aka to listen to this song
78. Mad Skillz - One, Two - Production by Timbaland
Mad Skillz grabs the mic and tears it apart on "One, Two". Mad Skillz always puts some of the greatest rhymes together mostly with that voice that nobody yet has mastered to try to snatch on him. As long as Skillz keeps songs like this on his belt he will be a favorite for most people.
Thumbs Up - Go to Aka to listen to this song
77. Big Noyd and Cormega - Hold It Down - Production by Havoc
Here's two guys I'm glad to hear together as Noyd and Cormega rip up this beat from Havoc from Mobb Deep. It's pretty much got to show up on Noyd or Cormega's album because it sure as hell won't end up on Nas Presents QB's Finest with the beef between Nas and Cormega.
Thumbs Up - Go to Aka to listen to this song
76. Brand Nubian - It's Brand Nu - Production Unknown
I guess Brand Nubian is back again as they bring out a brand nu song that is harder then lots of their music. It's on some of that "Punks Jump Up" rough shit, that I've always liked from Brand Nubian as they're back on the scene.
Thumbs Up - Go to Aka to listen to this song
75. D.I.T.C. - Ain't Nothing Fair - Production Unknown
I was surprised to see this track from D.I.T.C., when I listened to it I thought it was good but I was kind of glad it wasn't on their album as it is just different then most of their other stuff. I don't know what this will end up on, but it's worth checking out.
Thumbs Up - Go to Aka to listen to this song
74. 50 Cent - Hustler - Production Unknown
50 Cent usually comes hard as a gangster, but on this song he shines as a hustler. I like his flow over this nice beat. 50 Cent really shows he can flow over a beat that ain't no gangster beat. Hopefully 50 Cent's album comes out soon because it sounds great.
Thumbs Up - Go to Aka to listen to this song
73. Raekwon, Busta Rhymes and unknown artist - Make A Toast - Production by Easy Mo Bee
This was a track which I thought looked a little bit weird to me, I know it's produced by Easy Mo Bee and it might be on Easy Mo Bee's album as he has a song by American Cream Team and Flipmode. Anyways this song is really good, mostly because I didn't see a collaboration like this coming out of the wood works.
Thumbs Up - Go to Aka to listen to this song
72. Kool G Rap and unknown artist - Blaze Em All - Production Unknown
I can't think of the artist's name that's on this song with Kool G Rap, but he does a great job mostly when you're going up against one of the finest mc's on the mic Kool G Rap. Hopefully this is on Kool G Rap's album on Rawkus.
Thumbs Up - Go to Aka to listen to this song
71. De La Soul - Foolin' - Production by Prince Paul
De La Soul is back again and all I have to say is I'm glad. This song has a great beat that is probably from Prince Paul (hopefully) and De La Soul flow right along with the beat as they rip it up as usual. If you're smart you'll get their album when it actually comes out.
Thumbs Up - Go to Aka to listen to this song
70. The Smith Brothers (Smoothe Da Hustler & Trigger The Gambler) - Real Live - Production Unknown
Smoothe Da Hustler and Trigger The Gambler come back together and I've been wondering where the hell they've been, but they rip this track. Smoothe said he finished his first album in 1991, but it didn't come out until 1995, and now he's ready to bring out another one. Watch out for these two.
Thumbs Up - Go to Da Mad Rapper's Web Site to listen to this song
69. Masta Ace and Buckshot - Brooklyn Streets - Production Unknown
Lately Masta Ace has been bringing out tracks who knows what label he's on now, but him and Buckshot do some story telling on this track ripping it up. The beat works great with the speed of their lyrics, all I can say is it's a great track.
Thumbs Up - Go to Da Mad Rapper's Web Site to listen to this song
68. Eyeball and Jermaine Dupri - You Ain't Ready For Us - Production Unknown
This is the first time I've heard of these guys before, I thought the track was pretty good and JD's on the hook, anyways I think it's him. These guys sound more like M.O.P. then anyone else and opened with a good song.
Thumbs Up - Go to Da Mad Rapper's Web Site to listen to this song
67. Afu-Ra and Cocoa Brovaz - Who You Be - Production Unknown
Afu-Ra and Cocoa Brovaz come together on this track like they were meant to be in a group together or something. With a really good beat Afu, Tek and Steele rip up the beat and knock another notch on Afu-Ra's album as it looks great if it ever comes out.
Thumbs Up - Go to Da Mad Rapper's Web Site to listen to this song
66. Major Figgas - Y'all Can't Fuck Wit The Figgas - Production Unknown
This is the first track I've heard by Major Figgas and I was pretty impressed. Maybe it's because I'm a Ruff Ryders fan and these guys kind of reminded me of the Ruff Ryders. Actually they reminded me a lot of them, but they are different in their own way and they shine on this song.
Thumbs Up - Go to Gotcha Open Radio to listen to this song
65. Afu-Ra - Body Of The Life Force - Production Unknown
This song is good, but not as good as some of Afu-Ra's other songs like "Defeat" and "Trilogy Of Terror". Anyways the songs beat is good, but I don't think it's really Afu's style. Afu-Ra will grace us with an amazing album although.
Thumbs Up - Go to Da Mad Rapper's Web Site to listen to this song
64. Slum Village and Busta Rhymes - What It's All About - Production by Jay Dee
Slum Village invites Busta Rhymes to help out on this nice head bobbing song. When Busta's featured on a song it's pretty hard for it to be bad as this song shines. Hope this Slum Village is as good as some people say it is, because this song is nice.
Thumbs Up - Go to Da Mad Rapper's Web Site to listen to this song
63. Paul Barman - The Joy Of Your World - Production by Prince Paul
I've heard a lot of songs by MC Paul Barman, but I don't know what to think of him. Personally I like this song and his lyrics are different from most as he sounds more live then anything. All I know is he's different.
Thumbs Up - Go to Aka to listen to this song
62. Snoop Dogg and Goldie Loc - Fuck Death Row - Production Unknown
If you name me a year when someone that is associated with Dr. Dre hasn't cut down someone tell me because I don't think there is one. Like Kurupt's "Callin' Out Names", Snoop Dogg and Goldie Loc attack Death Row saying how he made them and how there shit now. The disses are pretty good, but the beat could be better.
Thumbs Up - Go to Snoop's Dogghouse to listen to this song
61. Tragedy Khadafi - Too Bent & Too High - Production Unknown
I can't remember who did this beat a long time ago, but I know I liked the song lots as I do with this song. Tragedy re-establishes the beat and rips it as he shows his lyrical ability to grace the mic. Hopefully he can keep up with this good work.
Thumbs Up - Go to Gotcha Open Radio to listen to this song
60. Tragedy Khadafi and Black Child - Bing Monsters - Production Unknown
Here's another song from Tragedy eagerly anticipated album that has taken a long time to come out on the shelves. Anyways Tragedy and Black Child from The Murderers attack this track nicely together, but the beat is the greatest part of the song with the sound of a prison cell being closed.
Thumbs Up - Go to Gotcha Open Radio to listen to this song
59. Killah Priest and Ras Kass - Whut Part Of The Game? - Production Unknown
Killah Priest and Ras Kass (1/2 of the Horsemen) rip up this rough beat. I like the flow of this song because this is Killah Priest's style of beat he usually rips and Ras Kass finishes off the song as two of the best mc's on the mic rip this song.
Thumbs Up - Go to Gotcha Open Radio to listen to this song
58. Kidco - You Know How It Is - Production Unknown
All I know about this guy is that he's from the United Kingdom. Kidco laces this track with superb lyrics and the beat that he raps on is very nice showing the U.K.'s rap stars are getting bigger and better.
Thumbs Up - Go to Da Mad Rapper's Web Site to listen to this song
57. Lil' Kim - You Can't Win - Production Unknown
Lil' Kim attacks with a bouncing beat that's sure to please all the critics as she dismantles the mic and then dismantles Foxy Brown on the third verse. Hopefully Lil' Kim keeps up on this rainbow of success she's been riding lately and brings it to The Notorious K.I.M.
Thumbs Up - Go to Da Mad Rapper's Web Site to listen to this song
56. Ras Kass - Untitled - Production Unknown
Not sure if this will end up on Ras Kass' new album as it has been out for a while. The beat is pretty good, but it's those raw lyrics from Ras Kass that keep you in tune with the song as he could kill you six times before you hit the ground with these skills.
Thumbs Up - Go to Da Mad Rapper's Web Site to listen to this song
55. Slum Village - Things You Do - Production by Jay Dee
Slum Village comes on point with "Things You Do" easily one of their best releases even though they haven't released too many tracks. The beat is on that Jay Dee type of beat which is makes the song pretty cool. Hopefully Slum Village's album brings as much good work as on this song.
Thumbs Up - Go to Da Mad Rapper's Web Site to listen to this song
54. Eminem, Jay-Black and Masta Ace - Hellbound - Production Unknown
When I first saw this track at Gotcha Open Radio Rapwiz reminded me that Eminem loves Masta Ace and when I listened to this track I realized anything Eminem is on is banging. The guy's just that good. It helps that the beat is incredible and now that I listen to Masta Ace I realize where Em got his style of rapping from. This song is an instant classic and hopefully everyone will peep it.
Thumbs Up - Go to Gotcha Open Radio to listen to this song
53. Reflection Eternal - Some Kind Of Wonderful - Production by DJ Hi-Tek
Talib Kweli lays down those nice lyrics that always come across perfectly ever since we heard "Manifesto". Hi-Tek's beat bounces back and forth like it was a ping pong ball. Look out cause this reflection might be eternal.
Thumbs Up - Go to Gotcha Open Radio to listen to this song
52. Ran Reed - Army With A Hand Gun - Production Unknown
I don't know who produced this song, but I know Ran Reed is incredible, the same style as Prodigy has and his beats are always on point. I don't know anything about him, but I know he gets my vote for the unknown man.

51. Ghostface Killah and RZA - The Grain - Production by RZA
"The Grain" has a medium-fast beat and great verses from both swordsman. For some reason this wasn't on Ghostface's album, even though the tracklisting say it is. Hopefully it will end up on Ghost Dog as it is a great track.
Thumbs Up - Go to Gotcha Open Radio to listen to this song
50. KRS-One - Let It Flow - Production Unknown
Lately KRS hasn't been my favorite mc, but on "Let It Flow" KRS gets a nice beat to work with as attacks the mic ferociously on the third verse. If KRS-One brings out an album this song better be on it.
Thumbs Up - Go to Da Mad Rapper's Web Site to listen to this song
49. Cormega and his little brother - Fuck Nas & Nature - Production Unknown
Yes, I know this is an old song, but it was never actually released on an album at least I don't think. After Nas, AZ and Foxy Brown screwed Cormega out of the Firm and put Nature in the group they made fun of Cormega so Cormega rips Nature and Nas and then puts his brother on. If their was a top five for battle songs this would be in there.
Thumbs Up - Go to Da Mad Rapper's Web Site to listen to this song
48. Capone-N-Noreaga - This Is For Da Hustlas - Production by Poke and Tone
Capone-N-Noreaga come with another new song that isn't as good as some of their shit, but they do rip it up as it's more of a gangster beat, just ask Melvin Flynt - Da Hustler as he for once gives me a reason to like him more then Capone.
Thumbs Up - Go to Aka to listen to this song
47. Angie Martinez, LOX, Beanie Sigel, Kool G Rap and Brett - Live From The Streets - Production Unknown
Angie Martinez' first exclusive exclusive song from her compilation album "Live From The Streets" features some of the rawest mc's on the mic as LOX tear the first verse apart, then Beanie Sigel rips his verse apart and last but not the least Kool G Rap rips everybodies verses apart as he schools all these mc's on the mic. A great song that better end up on her album.
Thumbs Up - Go to Aka to listen to this song
46. Strings - The Tongue Song - Production Unknown
Strings is one woman who I don't have a clue who she is or where she came from. I heard Swizz does lots of her production. To me she sounds more r&bish then an mc, but lots of people have been reviewing her so I'll give her the benefit of the doubt. Anyways I don't care for her much.
Thumbs Down - Go to Aka to listen to this song
45. Mya and Jadakiss - Best Of Me - Production Unknown
This is mostly Mya's song, but the J to the A to da kiss does a verse that keeps the song fresh on a good r&b beat. Mya does good work on the song, but Jadakiss outshines her just because he's Jadakiss.
Thumbs Up - Go to Aka to listen to this song
44. Canibus and Journalist - Life Liquids - Production Unknown
Canibus steps up on the scene with Journalist an mc new on the scene, but he has been doing lots of songs with Can-I-Bus lately. "Life Liquids" has a really rough beat that works great with two mc's that love to rip your body apart with their lyrics. Hopefully it will be on Canibus' album.
Thumbs Up - Go to Aka to listen to this song
43. Nas and Nashawn - Teenage Thug - Production Unknown
"Teenage Thug" is a pretty good song from Nas and this up and comer Nashawn. The beat's a little too much on the r&b style, but it is an entertaining song as both these mc's are great on the mic. Check it out.
Thumbs Up - Go to Aka to listen to this song
42. Mr. Rocco - Who R U? - Production Unknown
Mr. Rocco is one guy I have never heard of. All I can think about when I hear the name is Mr. Socko, (Good luck Mick), but he attacks the mic like most underground mc's do. The beat is gritty and grimy and that's my kind of beat so check out Mr. Socko...I mean Mr. Rocco
Thumbs Up - Go to Gotcha Open Radio to listen to this song
41. Non Phixion - Black Helicopters - Production Unknown
This is easily the best song I've heard today. I've always avoided listening to Non Phixion for some reason, but now I have a reason to listen to him because this song is banging. Non Phixion clearly delivers blows to the mic and gives us a great song.
Thumbs Up - Go to Gotcha Open Radio to listen to this song
40. Dilated Peoples - Annihilation - Production by The Alchemist
Dilated Peoples are always rough on the mic as Evidence gives us evidence why Dilated Peoples deserved that record deal they received. The Alchemist does the rough beat and of course whenever Alchemist is on the boards, the song turns out good.
Thumbs Up - Go to Gotcha Open Radio to listen to this song
39. Tragedy Khadafi - Live By The Gun - Production Unknown
Tragedy Khadafi might finally be bringing out his newest effort to the world of hip hop lovers. He's not chillin' with Marley Marl anymore, but on this song Tragedy takes it to the next level with a rough beat that reps that side of Tragedy that we seen with Chuck D on "America Eats The Young".
Thumbs Up - Go to Gotcha Open Radio to listen to this song
38. Scritti Politti, Defari and Tash - Another Sound Mission (Remix) - Production Unknown
The remix to "Another Sound Mission" is pretty cool. Defari starts on the mic and tears it up, then Tash starts up his super cool lyrics but get's out of hand. Anyways it's mixed great and it's sure to be a hit from the likwit crew.
Thumbs Up - Go to Gotcha Open Radio to listen to this song
37. Shabaam Sahdeeq and Ran Reed - Murderous Flow - Production Unknown
When two underground artists collaborate on the mic and one of them's from Rawkus the songs going to be good no matter what. I don't know who did the beat, but it's better then anything I've heard this year. If Sahdeeq keeps up like this, he might just not be the most underrated mc on Rawkus anymore, and if Ran Reed isn't signed, somebody sign him.

36. Erick Sermon and Slick Rick - Why Not - Production by Erick Sermon
When two veterans like Erick Sermon and Slick Rick collaborate you just know it's going to be good. These two rip up the cut, and the hook just makes the song as these two shine. The beat is great and this will be a song on Erick Onassis.

35. Reflection Eternal - The Express - Production by DJ Hi-Tek
Here are two guys that could blow up 2000. Talib Kweli has the skills to rip a hole in the atmosphere and Hi-Tek's beats are always on point. "The Express" is a great song to get these guys going again, after making songs for Rawkus compilations.

34. Blood Of Abraham - Velvet Glove Iron Fist - Production Unknown
Bloods Of Abraham are really getting a good vote from me on their two songs putting them back in the game. They sound like a combination of A Tribe Called Quest and Mood. After five years maybe we could see a dynasty.

33. Blood Of Abraham - 99 Cent Lighter - Production Unknown
Bloods Of Abraham are back and this song is going to put them back on the map. The beat is fresh, sounds something like the kind of beat DJ Hi-Tek would do. I like their flow and hopefully they keep making songs like this.

32. Nature - Talking That Shit - Production Unknown
Once again Nature flies on the scene out of nowhere with another song. This song is really nice as Nature attacks the mic very crazily. The beat is rough and shows the bad side of Nature which is usually the better side of him.
Thumbs Up - Go to Gotcha Open Radio to listen to this song
31. Nature - Don't Stop - Production Unknown
Nature really shines on this song "Don't Stop", if his album ever comes out we might get it on cd some day. Personally I've always liked Nature, but liked Cormega just a smidgeon more. This song has a very different beat which really makes this song. If Nature keeps bringing shit like this he could really get a big name in this industry.

30. Royce The 5'9" - Stay In Your Place - Production Unknown
The beat on this song is good, but I don't think it's really Royce' style and it's probably my least favorite song from Royce The 5'9". The song should be liked by some people though just because Royce is so great on the mic.
Thumbs Up - Go to Snoop's Dogghouse to listen to this song
29. Royce The 5'9" - The Throne Is Mine - Production by Dr. Dre
Royce The 5'9" is here to conquer the throne of rap. Unfortunately I don't think he will be able to do it after one album, maybe if Dr. Dre produced the whole album and they all were beats like this. Royce just got a little bigger in my book (Royce The 6'0").
Thumbs Up - Go to Snoop's Dogghouse to listen to this song
28. Big L - Devil's Son - Production Unknown
Big L spits verses about being the devil's son over a really cool beat that sounds like something from his album. I don't know where everyone is finding these Big L songs from, but keep them coming.

27. Big L - Times Is Hard On The Boulevard - Production Unknown
Another unreleased song by Big L which has him putting the mic on the fire over a nice beat that features everything from drums, trumpets and scratching of records. It's another nice track by him so check it out.

26. Big L, Cam'Ron, McGruff and Mase - American Dream - Production Unknown
These four cats from the same borough attack over the beat of 2Pac's "I Ain't Mad At 'Cha" and do a good job over it. The fallen soldier Big L rips the tightest verse jumping right into it. I'm not sure if this song has been released but I'm pretty sure it hasn't. Another Big L cut that came out of nowhere.

25. Sticky Fingaz - Come On - Production by Self
Right away you know this is going to be the crazy side of Sticky. With a beat that's blazing and Sticky screaming in the background like a crazy nut, he comes with a very nice track. Sticky Fingaz is pretty much telling anybody if they want a piece of him to come and get him because 2000's his year.
Thumbs Up - Go to Da Mad Rapper's Web Site to listen to this song
24. Cypress Hill, Eminem and Noreaga - Rap Superstar - Production by DJ Muggs
Cypress Hill will never fall off if you ask me. "Rap Superstar" has an incredible beat and shows what the hip hop industry is really about. Eminem and Noreaga don't rap unfortunately, they just talk about what this industry is all about.
Thumbs Up - Go to Gotcha Open Radio to listen to this song
23. De La Soul, Rob-O and Pete Rock - Stay Away - Production by Pete Rock
Pete Rock laces the kind of beat that these guys should be rhyming over. This song should be on De La's triple album. The rhymes on the song are great too.

22. KRS-One and Truck Turner - We Don't Care Anyone - Production Unknown
I don't understand KRS-One, he makes songs that are pretty much perfect and then he makes songs where his lyrics are on point but the beat doesn't work. This song is just that. KRS-One can't even sing that great on this song.
Thumbs Down - Go to Gotcha Open Radio to listen to this song
21. Shabaam Sahdeeq - Are You Ready? - Production Unknown
The beat on this song is blazing and Sahdeeqy flows over it wonderfully. Out of all the songs I've heard from his new album so far this is by far the best. Hopefully he keeps it rollin' since he's from Rawkus. He even uses a sample from Mr. T on Rocky III.
Thumbs Up - Go to Da Mad Rapper's Web Site to listen to this song
20. Drag-On and DMX - Yeah, Yeah - Production by Swizz Beatz
I like the beat on this song, and Drag-On comes nicer then usual and DMX does the hook which doesn't suit the song. I've been feeling Swizz' production a lot more after he was getting in trouble for sampling crap.

19. D.I.T.C. - Time To Get The Money - Production Unknown
I'm really feeling this D.I.T.C. album and why shouldn't I when their better then pretty much group there is. "Time To Get The Money" is finally the time for D.I.T.C. to get their money. It has a great verse from O to the C like Omar Credle, sorry I liked that line from Pharoahe Monch on "The Anthem", but this song's banging.
Thumbs Up - Go to Da Madd Rapper's Web Site to listen to this song
18. Nas, Run and Prodigy - Queen's Day - Production Unknown
Over a nice melodic beat Nas, Run and Prodigy each rip nice verses about the city Queens which always gets love from it's artists. It's supposed to be the next Queens anthem and I wouldn't be surprised as it's getting a lot of airplay.
Thumbs Up - Go to Da Madd Rapper's Web Site to listen to this song
17. Craig Mack - The Wooden Horse - Production by DJ Mark The 45 King
Craig Mack uses a sample from Frank Sinatra which is probably the highlight of the song. Think of "Hard Knock Life" with a rougher beat and Frank Sinatra singing on the chorus. I like this song mostly because of Sinatra, but Mack gets it done.
Thumbs Up - Go to Da Madd Rapper's Web Site to listen to this song
16. Craig Mack - Listen To My Demo - Production by DJ Mark The 45 King
Craig Mack is back on the map and he uses a beat that I've heard a couple of times. He pretty much tells his life story on the rap scene spitting everything from Bad Boy and The Notorious B.I.G. It's a nice cut and I hope Mack finally does his thing.

15. Afu-Ra - Defeat - Production Unknown
Afu-Ra the old side kick of Jeru The Damaja is finally on his own. "Defeat" is a great song that shows Afu-Ra wants the solo debut of the year, but will be up against really tight artists. If you've saw the video it's funny as hell as Afu-Ra kicks some shit. If you're smart you'll hear this song, it's banging more than Pamela Anderson and Tommy Lee.
Thumbs Up - Go to Gotcha Open Radio to listen to this song
14. Mad Skillz - Ghost Writer - Production Unknown
Mad Skillz brings a song that you would never think of doing, well myself anyways. Mad Skillz discusses all the rappers that he's ghost wrote songs for and puts noises over everyones names and says at the end of the song "If you don't quit fucking around I'll put this song back out with your names on it." which I thought was just damn smart.

13. 50 Cent - Your Life's On The Line - Production Unknown
50 Cent is an incredible mc and he might just bring out the best solo debut. He keeps going at 180 mph passing all these young mc's. He attacks Jay-Z and Nas on this song with these lyrics, 50 um/ Jay-Z and Nas/I'm going to say this shit now and never again/We ain't buddies, we ain't partners, and we damn sure ain't friends/The games you playin, you get killed like that/Acting like you all hard, you ain't built like that/See me when you see me nigga

12. Main One and O.C. - Droppin' Grammar - Production by Nick Wiz
Let's just say this song is one song you have to hear no matter what, I don't care if you're stuck in a blizzard, getting thrown around by a tornado. Find someway to hear this song. The beat is incredible and it really helps when Main One and O.C. rip the hell out of the mic. What can I say check out this song.

11. Truck Turner and KRS-One - Switch (Jackin' For Beats 2000) - Production Unknown
Truck Turner and KRS-One pretty much copy Sticky Fingaz for bringing back the classic by Ice Cube. He copied it, but the good thing is Truck Turner uses better beats and makes the song even funner by having KRS-One yelling SWITCH for the beat to change. Uses beats like "Quiet Storm", "Ha", "Symphony 2000" and even has a diss to 50 Cent.

10. Killah Priest - Fall Of Solomon - Production Unknown
Killah Priest is one of those artists that could kill just by his lyrics is back on point releasing a couple new songs lately. "Fall Of Solomon" has a nice beat that sounds like something you'd hear somebody like Zorro dancing to. Of course his lyrics are on point as he is a lyrical terminator. Check out the song soon.

9. The Sphinx and Solomon The Wise - 2 Kings - Production by The Sphinx
2 Kings is one of those underground gems that is hard to find, but if you look hard enough you will find this song. This track should be released soon hopefully, because it's excellent, no doubt about it. The Sphinx attacks and Solomon The Wise comes to help on this great track. The beat is cool as hell so check it out.

8. Session - Braveheart - Production by Eddie Nygma
Session loves the concept of this song, and I think it's a cleverly put together track. Just picture Jeru The Damaja saving hip hop, but this is Session battling the king of hip hop in the olden days and winning, becoming the king of hip hop. Features a sample from Braveheart the movie at the start of the song. The beat fits the song really good, while Session's lyrics are on point as usual.

7. Warren G, Snoop Dogg, Nate Dogg and Xzibit - Game Don't Wait (Dr. Dre Remix) - Production by Dr. Dre
This song is supposedly going to be on Snoop Dogg Presents The Eastsidaz and I hope it is because Dr. Dre remixes it to perfection and adds one of my personal favorites Xzibit to rip a verse. The west is creeping back on the scene a little too eerily just because of Dr. Dre's camp. Check out this song it's banging.
Thumbs Up - Go to Snoop's Dogghouse to listen to this song
6. Dr. Dre, Eminem and Hittman - Forgot About Dre (Video Mix) - Production by Dr. Dre
The video is the same as the normal song by Dr. Dre and Eminem which is classic work, but Hittman jumps on the scene with a different beat that I've heard is part of a song that will be on his album. Anyways if this song comes out on a cd, get it because it already gets my nomination for best song of the year, well I'm jumping off my rocker, but for sure beat of the year. "Hittman 2000" ya heard.
Thumbs Up - Go to Snoop's Dogghouse to listen to this song
5. Royce The 5'9 - All I Wanna Know - Production Unknown
Royce The 5'9 attacks with a new song that down right blows him on the scene, too bad everyone already knows he's great, but if you don't listen to this song. The beat's on pace with young stallion and he is an mc that will always be great with lyrics so don't wait. Listen to this one.
Thumbs Up - Go to Snoop's Dogghouse to listen to this song
4. The Roots - Quicksand Millennium - Production Unknown
This track was left off The Roots - Things Fall Apart and if you ask me would have been one of the best cuts on the album. Over a nice gentle beat The Roots show why they are one of the best groups out there. Shining The Roots show their stuff and hopefully it will be released on their next album.

3. Canibus - Aids Is Gold, HIV Is Platinum - Production Unknown
Even though this song is unreleased it would be great if they could release it on a new America Is Dying Slowly 2 album or something because Canibus rips it up. If you don't understand the title Canibus explains 500,000 people have aids, 1,000,000 people are going to have it. Canibus shows his knowledge on the disease and wins his award from Xzibit.

2. Canibus, Killah Priest and Rose Cartel - 4 Bars - Production Unknown
With the music from Smoothe Da Hustler's classic, Killah Priest rips the start of the song apart. Canibus makes short work of the microphone, while Rose Cartel show off their skills to all the people who don't know who they are. Unknown if this will be released, but it's pretty good.
Thumbs Up - Go to Canibus' Home Page to listen to this song
1. Canibus and Killah Priest - Priest Hood - Production Unknown
If two guys can rap about doing cool things to your body parts it's these two mc's. Representing The Horsemen the two rip this short but sweet beat that has the two battling to a draw. If it comes out it should end up on Killah Priest's album.
