The Set It Off soundtrack is another typical R&B/Hip Hop soundtrack. The soundtrack has a little hip hop, but nothing to be excited about.
On the hip hop side the album has good moments. Queen Latifah and Nikki D's "Name Callin'" is worth mentioning as Queen Latifah and Nikki challenge all wack female mc's. "Days Of Our Livez" has a great beat, but I still have troubles understanding what they say. Busta Rhymes provides a pretty good listen with "Live To Regret". Probably the best song is "Angelic Wars" by Goodie Mob, Cool Breeze, and Backbone. Cool Breeze has the best part. "From Yo Blind Side" by X-Man and H Squad has a tight beat, but the lyrics are wack.
Overall Set It Off has a few good hip hop songs, but don't mess with soundtracks.
Top 3 Songs:
1. Angelic Wars - Goodie Mob, Cool Breeze, Backbone
2. Days Of Our Livez - Bone Thugs-N-Harmony
3. Name Callin' - Queen Latifah, Nikki D
