ABOUT ME

Hey what's going on? Hope you're enjoying your visit at my webpage, nothing much, but hey. Well my name is Jesse Moreton, right now I'm 17, almost 18. I'm living just outside Owen Sound but soon I'm taking off to McMaster to start University this fall. I was born in Kitchener on August 8th, 1982. And it's kind of cool cause August is the 8th month, and I was born in the 8th hour, and on the 8th day. I grew up in Kitchener. Kitchener remained my home until I was about 12 when my Dad got a new job in Wiarton. So we moved up here and this has been home since. We like our house because it's nice and there's lots of space around us, but we're not too far from town. See my picture pages for photos of the house. Owen Sound is a pretty groovy place, you guys should all come and visit. It's great because I can't help seeing at least one person I know whenver I'm driving around in town. There's lots of stuff to do dispite what others might say so come and check it out yo!
I just finished school at WHSS, West Hill Secondary School, which is one of the two main high schools in OS. (The other is a small catholic school). I'm going to miss school, well actually just the people and friends and stuff but I'm glad it's over with. I'm really excitied for school next year because it's going to be big and stuff. But I'm also really scared because I've never lived by myself before and I'll have to do stuff like laundry and make food so ya...but it will be all good :)
As far as hobbies and interests go, well um...I like lots of stuff. Sports are great, basketball is my favourite, even though I kind of suck at it. I like following the nba and stuff. I like kayaking, skiing(at Blue Mountain)...I just got these new snowblades last season, they're like little stunt skiis, and they rule. They're so much fun, if you ski try them! Other groovy stuff: mountain biking, swimming and skimboarding. Playing piano is fun somtimes and always handy. Music is like my life, so ya, that's pretty cool. Hmm... what else do I like? I like anything that is food because food is good. Ya know, ice cream, pizza, chocolate, milk/cream (here's a little tip, whenver you go to a fast food place pick up TONS of the little cream or milk cups meant for coffee and just drink them cuz they're free!!!), cheese...it's my life ambition to become the cheeze guy on the tv comercials when I grow up, lazana...garfield got me hooked on that stuff, candy, or whatever else I can get my hands on, but I'll stop now before I start getting you dream of all that good food stuff.
As for as beliefs and stuff, well I belong to The Church of Jesus Christ of Lader Day Saints. We're also known as LDS and Mormons. We believe it to be the only church on the earth which has the fulness of Christ's gospel. I admit this is bold statement; please don't take offence. I know other churches are great and teach great principles but be believe this church has the fulness of the gospel. We believe that Jesus Christ is at the head of this church and Heavenly Father is guiding our Prophet, Gorden B. Hinckly. The church was restored in the 1800's by Joesph Smith, and has grown tremendously since then. We believe in the Book of Mormon, which is an ancient record of the people living in South America. We have come cool beliefs, so if you're interested please check out the church's only official website. I'm really involved in my church and love going to youth activities and dances cuz they rule and you can do crazy stuff because ya!
Well I'm no pyschic, but I have a couple ideas of how I'd like my future to turn out. I have a couple goals and stuff just so I know I'm getting where I want to go in life. I want to get married in the temple (a sacred building where covanants are made with God) and serve a mission for my church. I'd like to be a good father and able to provide for my family. I'd like to keep the good friends I have, and I hope to make more as my life progresses. I think that's about it for now, I'll write more later and just be thankful for what I have written because this is the first time I've updated this for like 2 years.
