The Cry of A Boy

A once innocent boy,
Takes a turn for the worse,
Mixed up feelings that were locked up,
Now explode into violence.

In a world where crime is known,
And is displayed in public ways,
A boy may take it all,
And use it to let out rage.

Hurt, scared, and all alone,
Having problems with life,
Grieving over the hardships they have,
Trying to find a way to make it right.

In a world where outrage can be seen,
A troubled boy will take it all,
And use it in the wrong way,
By killing all the people that stand in his way,

Anything like this can happen,
At any time or place,
No place is safe from a shooting,
Because all it takes is an angry boy who sees no other way.

I wrote this poem after reading a magazine article, about one of the many shootings that happened this year.

What do you think? Please let me know.
