Carl's Special Reports
(Carl's my husband and an award-winning journalist)
Bloody Sundays
A special report about NFL injuries.
Potential for Disaster
An investigative series on the lack of chemical plant security. Carl's investigation spawned a "60 Minutes" investigation, during which he and Kroft meandered around an unsecure plant. A judge later acquitted Carl of trespassing charges, citing Carl's service to the community in revealing the lack of security.
Second String

Iraq Articles
Carl, also a Marine combat veteran, was an embedded journalist for the Pittsburgh Trib during the Iraq War.
