"Buying Your Time"
I sold my dreams and savings to get to you
I conquered fears and reality
I traveled to see the "real" you
To maybe feel a touch
To maybe get a hug
But, I forgot I can't buy your time
But, I can buy a play ticket
I don't understand why I still care
Why I want to acknowledge your presence
Your nothing but Hollywood all over
We aren't that different at all
You have money and fame
I have a play ticket and a way back home
You mean something and nothing to me
We're so close but yet so far away
A touch away but body guards apart
Miles between us but technology within
You'll see in time
I'm just like you
No matter what they say
You'll always hold a place in my heart
And you will see I can never be able to buy your time
Or get another chance to see you in person again
