Remember When?
* Remember when in Kindergarten when Shawn got out of line?
Mrs. Parker made him sit in a square, to serve his punishment time.
* Remember when in 1st grade, we'd line up at the door?
And guess who was always behind you, but the handsome Bubby Moore.
* Remember when in 2nd grade, Tony Grate was one of our friends?
He began to become a boss, so we got rid of him.
* Remember when in 3rd grade, we were running in the halls?
We ran into Mr. Chambers, and had to face the walls.
* Remember when in 4th grade, we tried to please the class?
We acted out the three stooges, and kicked Alvenas ass.
* Remember when in 5th grade, we brought those bouncy balls?
We'd stand on opposite sides of the gym, and throw them against the walls.
* Remember when in 6th grade, Mr. Jewell was our recess teacher?
You and I got out at dodge ball, then I fell off the bleacher. (ouch still have a scar)
* Remember when in Junior High, we both went our separate ways?
We were in different classes and sports, those were the sucky old days.
* Remember when in High School, the pranks we always pulled?
Many on the stupid teachers, man we had them fooled.
* Remember when on our senior trip, the teachers made such a fuss?
But not Jay and Elizabeth, they had their fun on the bus.
* Remember when the day had come, that we just couldn't wait?
our class together one last time, to finally graduate.
* Remember when we'd do the things, we later would regret?
Then something even stranger would happen, that made it stranger yet.
* Remember when we got this job, at a local department store?
We never made very much money there, and the job was such a bore.
* Remember when we goofed around, and had a lot of fun?
Sometimes I wish we could relive, some of the stuff we've done.
* Remember when we look back now at all that we've been through?
Sneaking behind everyone's back, only if they knew.
* Remember when I told you, my poems at its end?
And to let you know, and thank you for being my BEST FRIEND!!!!
(DEDICATED TO MY BEST FRIEND JULIE RIFFLE)
