"Color Me Sunshine"
Once upon a time you gave me a name
Yet can I call you an enemy?
Can I call you friend?
Can I call you by your real name?
Wait I can't even call you!

My wings once were fluffy and full
Now you pulled them out one by one
I haven't any left to fly away with
Stranded and wingless

I used to wear my clown suit well
White face and painted on smile
My red nose turned brown
My makeup smeared from the blue tear in the corner of my eye
My smile turned upside down

Days gone by with worries attached
Pathetic thinking of anxiety attacks
Apologies accepted
But laughter overcomes all

Once upon a time someone gave me a name
Colored me Sunshine
I recolored me Rain
