I thought you really needed me
The way you kissed my lips.
How could you turn completely around,
and leave me again like this?
I thought I had done it all,
Did the BEST that I could do?
But nothing I ever did,
Was good enough for you.
Just turn and walk out that door,
And see If I still care.
I'll try to hold back again,
Another stranded tear.
I've done it once before,
And I'll do it once again.
It just feels like I'm losing,
One of my best friends.
If the world should happen to stop tomorrow,
So what? You wouldn't care.
You'd sit in the bar and drink,
And give me that schoolboy stare.
Please get out of my heart,
And get out of my life.
And please quit,
Asking me to be your wife.
Cause I've heard it once and,
Probably will hear it again.
Then you walk on past me,
Like dust in the wind.
I just wanted to say THANKS,
For wasting my time.
And I feel sorry for others,
Cause Loving you is a crime!!
