"Delusions Of Truth"
Sitting in the corner of this greenroom rocking back -n- forth
Like a small whipped child
Not abused
Not tortured
Just ignored
Watching you pass through
going through your motions
Trying to communicate
"Your Unwelcome In Here" smile
Speaking small words
We all know what that means
Chatting with me because you think you "have to"
Regret is in the eye of the pretender
Master Plans of yours have bombed
Lies destroyed one to many times
But the truthful ones get the punishment
The trouble with the truth is it always gets the blame
Spare the feelings and deny thy truth
No more will I feel your pain
No more will I cry your stale tears
It's just a computer for christ sake
Get the truth behind the truth before you blow it up
You've made up your mind
Now I have to make up mine
Apologies no longer work in our world
You can accept my truth but you can't apologize for your lies
I'm sorry it has come to this
sweet bitter end of nothing "really" started
Chatting is no longer in your itinerary with me.
So walk away and don't look back on anger
delete me now
download your lies
email them to your followers
trash the memories
minimize the good times...
AND
disconnect me forever!

* Posted by stace on May 15, 1999 - This is so honest and lovely. So desolatory. "your unwelcome in here" smile.... Such beauty to be found in such demanding pain.
