If you are living overseas like I am, English books are hard to get and expensive. At Amazon, you can find and buy millions of books and detailed reviews on them!

Geocities chat is a place where you can enter the room of your choice without paying or even registering! Culture chat and SouthBeach chats are the best!

Geocities is the site that's hosting my homepage at this moment. They offer accounts with 5MB free space and lots of resources. However, you'll have to deal with the long URLs!
At Tripod, it's much easier to get your own homepage. The big advantage is the shorter URL names with your own user name in it! Plus, you get 5MB space!

This is a great Chinese news center, but it's only for people who can display Chinese on their screens!
Wanna find out the news of the moment? Here's the place to go with contents in every area you can think of!!
In Dogpile, you can search for stuff through its mega-engine that sorts through the databases of over 20 other sites (including Yahoo, Excite, Lycos, Infoseek, etc.) Its speed is incredible.
