.........m. Jean Rogers on 14 May 1781. She was the daughter of James and Lydia? Rogers. She was born 4 July 1764 and died 15 Jan 1835 at age 71. She is buried in the United Presbyterian Church cemetery in Putnam, N.Y. John Jr. had been a private in his father’s regiment during the Revolutionary War. In 1806, while still living in Cambridge, N.Y., they bought a farm owned by John Williams of Salem at Anthony’s Nose on Lake George. This farm was located on the bay afterwards called Blair’s Bay. John Jr is also buried in Cambridge.

James was born in and lived in Putnam, N.Y. He was a townsclerk of Putnam in 1834, a townsman in 1839, and a Justice of the Peace in 1830, 1834, 1842, 1846, and 1850. James and his wife are buried at the United
Presbyterian Church cemetery in Putnam, N.Y. In 1820, James rented a shed to Benjamin French, a blacksmith.
