Here's some pictures and some stories about the annual trip my friends and I go on.

Every year around June or July some where between 9 to 15 of us go to a campsite on Menonimee Indian Reservation in Wisconsin. Keith, who's relatives own the campsite, has been going since he was a kid, and for the past several years has brought his friends.

  • Keith and Heather (the married couple and leaders of the group; well, his relatives own the place)
  • John C. (the chef)
  • "Let's do it again" Randy (wild guy that brings the cooking box)
  • Rene (mother of the group, who always seems to have the worst luck)
  • "Bloody Toes" Mark (wacky man)
  • "camping man" Rusty (the camp-master of the group)
  • Mike (funny man; bad luck too, but primarily due to his clumsiness)
  • then there's John T. (ME; youngest of the group with a smart-ass remark for everything)

Every year our camping trip brings us onto the Wolf River. This here is Big Smokey Falls. It awaits us at the end of the rafting trip. The first year I went I was tossed out of the raft and had the horror to meet Smokey face to face. Boy, that was an adventure I'll never forget.
Mike, with a great photo opportunity, captures a shot of us ripping through the white water.

Here is a beautiful shot of Sullivan Falls. On the right is Kim and Bridgette that went with us in 1995. This is a georgeous place to visit if you ever get the chance.

This is one of my favorite parts of the trip: going through 'the canyon'. One year, when I swore I would not fall out of the raft. We got all the way through 'the canyon' and I sat on the side of the raft and threw my arms in victory. Right then, we hit a rock and I fell out over the side.

Hopefully, I'll get some more pictures so you can see all of us having fun.
