My Trip to the Mall of
America with Mike and Dave
I don't have any pictures about this trip, but it is definitely one
to talk about. We pulled some outrageous classics during this little episode.
We were talking about going to the Mall of America for months and we
always found some reason to go. Well, over winter break from college I
talked to both Mike and Dave about it and Mike was all for it, but Dave
was a little hesitant. To much my surprise Dave calls me at 8:30 in the
morning when he got off of work (third shift doing security) and asked
me if I was ready to get on the little red bus (his Mom's car) for a trip.
I said let me call Mike for a sit-down. Of course, Mike said okay and we
were on our way. Before I left I woke up my Dad and said I was going to
the mall. He said okay. Then I told him it was in Minnesota. He replied
back with 'Really?', paused for a minute then said 'okay' and went back
to sleep.
After we stopped for breakfast at McDonalds so Dave could tell his girlfriend
we were going somplace other than the Mall of America (just because he's
Dave), Mike for some apparent reason asked Dave if he asked his parents'
permission to take the car. Dave said 'No'(Like I said earlier; just because
he's Dave, that's the way he works). That didn't stop us we still went
on.
The way up there was a blast. If you ever see the three of us together
it's hilarious. It's like Saturday Night Live up close and in person. We
always have a good time no matter what we're doing. We stopped of in the
friendly town of Eua Claire and got a hotel. The people there are so friendly
we stopped off at a hotel and the girl there recommended us to a cheaper
hotel that was still very nice. At that hotel we talked to the people at
the desk for a good twenty minutes just talkin' about who we were and what
we were doing. It is probably the friendliest town we've ever been to.
