Chase's Point of View

S-Z

Simpson, OJ

I totally believe OJ killed Nicole. The facts are obvious. What was the red stuff in OJ's Bronco. You can bet your bottom dollar that Kato didn't spill some of Burger King's Catsup of the floodboards. He had motive, disgruntled ex-spouse is probably the most common motive. And how can he explain his behavior on the 35 mph "High Speed Chase" with the cops? Simpson is definitely guilty.

Smoking

Smoking is probably the most disgusting habit a person could possibly pick up. Yellow teeth, nasty breath, and the occasional phlegm hack-up. A real turn-on. Plus, it is so bad for a person, not to mention others around them, yet they think it's ok. They think it can calm their nerves or help them lose weight. What is going to calm their nerves then when they are undergoing a lung transplant?

Tatoos & Body Piercing

I personally think that tatoos & body piercing is pointless. Being jabbed with needles and later praying I don't get and infection or some strange disease just doesn't constitute looking cool. It does have a reedeming side, it allows you to easily pick out the wierdos and pain-gluttons in the crowd.

TWA 800

I don't put stock in any of those conspiracy theories about a Navy missile hitting the plane or anything like that. Purely fiction. Most likely, like the experts said, a spark ignited in the center fuel tank causing an explosion.

Vietnam War

I truly believe that the U.S. problably should not have been in Vietnam in the first place. However, we had a responsibility to protect our friends. I regret that we did not launch and 'unlimited' war. That means that we could have used nuclear weapons or any other weapons we felt were needed to bring North Vietnam to her knees.

Violence on TV

I really think that violence on TV is most of the time unnessecary, and usually pointless. I can see how people, especially parents, think that TV should not have violence because it can influence children. I partly agree, however I believe that parents should teach their kids not to be influenced by what is on TV. I also think that parents should moniter what their kids watch, especially during the ages when children are the most easily influenced.

Zippers vs. Velcro

This is a pretty tough one to call. Zippers and velcro both have some great aspects to them. I can't say I really favor one over the other. For example, Zippers can get stuck, usually in the down position, whereas velcro cannot. Zippers break more often and can, at times, tear a hole in any unspeakable garments beneath. However Velcro can get dirty, like getting particles of dust and dirt stuck in the fibers. Velcro doesn't hold as strongly, either. And finally, if your velcro comes undone, it is not very discreet. However, just the opposite, you can fasten velcro silently if you forgot to earlier. Zippers are known for their noise that lets everyone know you forgot to zip up.
