For Jordan's 1st Birthday
3/26/95
"Forever in Our Hearts"

When you entered our lives
we were so full of joy,
all of this came from a single little boy.
The short days of your life
brightened ours much,
your sweet little face
your innocent touch.
You were with us not long
now forever, you are gone,
from our touch
from our sight
both during the day, and the long nights.
Your little life was cut drastically short.
Even though we are now apart
You will always be....
FOREVER IN OUR HEARTS.

For the 1st Anniversary of Jordan's death

One year ago today you left our lives
now we go on and try not to cry.
In our dreams we watch you so tiny and small
In our hearts our love for you is mighty and tall.
Some days we still look in wonder, and plead
for you to be here is all we want and need.
We'll love you forever until our souls combine
     just like in our dreams, when our lives are entwined.

For Jordan's 2nd Birthday
3/26/96

Gone from our touch
gone from our sight,
those little blue eyes
so happy and bright.
Memories of you
so precious and sweet,
are all we have right now
until the next time we meet.
That time will come soon
when we'll be together again,
then our arms will be full
and our broken hearts will mend.

are what we have since you went away.
Empty arms and lonely hearts
are what we have since we're apart.
Memories are cherished and come everyday
and the love we have for you will never go away.

"I REMEMBER"

Four years old you would have been today
In a cold grave your little body lay.
The dreams I had died along with you
And the memories I was given are limited to a few.
I remember your birth, the pain and the joy
I remember you sleeping, a peaceful little boy.
I remember you crying, music to my ears
I remember your scent, how I love you my dear.
I remember you sweet Jordan,
my cherished, beloved boy
Like it was yesterday that I held you
you brought me so much joy.

I have placed this link here in memory of Joey Bennett, Tampa's Angel.
Joey was shot in the face and killed by his mother's boyfriend.
This is a horrible tragedy. Joey, you are in my thoughts.
