This little Irish Pub is one of the few wee havens of relaxation in a pub type atmosphere that few other pubs here in Canada can rival.
Without a doubt, the Host and Hostess (aka the owners) Molly and Willie Reddy and their staff are about the most pleasant anywhere. This feeling quickly passes on to the patrons as well,as it is a "neighbourhood" atmosphere where everyone knows everyone else if they've been in more than a couple of times.
Where would any good Irish Pub be without having a wide selection of beers on tap.
There is both Domestic Canadian beers, and Irish beers like Guinness,Kilkenny,Strongbow and
(I think) Caffreys,80/shilling and Harp to mention just a few.
The Tara Inn has a wide variety of Irish/English specialties or plain old Canadian if you're not overly adventurous.Breakfast,Lunch,Dinner or pub munchies are always available.
Be sure to try the Chicken Wings! *AWESOME!*
Every Sunday night Brian Tyrell is the leading entertainer, and is a real hoot.He can accomodate all tastes in the music variety, and draws people of all age groups (young 20's to retiree's).A definite *MUST SEE*.
Most Friday and Saturday nights there is some form of entertainment, with rarely a bad band/group/individual singer out of the bunch!
