MY OTHER HALF

This page is all about my other half and the love of my life, Ron. Most of you on the net that know him usually refer to him as PostalWorker or PW. He is 34 and just got out of the Air Force a few months ago. He was stationed at Keesler AFB in Biloxi Mississippi, but now he's a DoD Civilian Firefighter working at the Navy base down here.

I thought that since I told you all about myself and what I like, you should meet my other half as well! Ok, well, let me start at the beginning. We are currently living on the Mississippi Gulf Coast, but Ron is originally from Illinois. He has two really terrific parents; the best in laws that I could have ever received! And of course, he has the best in laws too, since my parents are also great! LOL! Hope you aren't too shocked to find that there ARE great in laws out there! Anyway, some of Ron's interests include computers and computer games such as Quake3. He also likes to play soccer whenever he gets a chance. He enjoys watching the X Files and WWF and listens to a wide range of music. Actually, he was the one to get me started on listening to Metallica. I never even heard of Metallica until I met him! LOL! Pretty sad, huh? Ok well, that gets us up to the part where the two of us actually met.

~THE MEETING~

I had just finished basic training in Texas and was on my way to my first duty station in Missouri. Well, Ron had already been at Whiteman AFB for awhile. We happened to both be living in the same dorm which was appropriately named Enterprise; I say that because we are both in the closet Trekkies! LOL! We won't actually admit it if asked, but we are! It had to be fate that brought us together. What else could it be?! Ok, to make a long story short, some mutual friends of ours introduced us, we fell in love, got married, and here we are, still together almost eleven years later with two beautiful little boys!
