Hi! My name is Lauren Tierney. I was named after my Nanny. Her maiden name was Tierney. I was born on August 16, 1994. I am 10 years old this year!!!!
2001-2002
I started 3rd grade this past September. I'm happy I get my teacher back from 1st grade (Mrs. Bell). She is really nice. I also cheered for the Pee-Wee football league. I really enjoy it, but I'm still working on my Cartwheels and splits.
This was our first summer (2002) in our new home. It's nice to live in a neighborhood! I live just around the corner from one of my best friends, Elyse. And we're only 1/2 mile from the BIG town park with bike trails and lots of playground equipment.
We got to go camping several times this year. We all really enjoy camping, especially when we go with a group of other families. Hopefully we can get back to see GiGi in Michigan this coming summer (2003).
2002-2003
WELL... 3RD GRADE IS OVER. I'VE HAD A GOOD YEAR. I'LL BE MOVING TO BRASS CASTLE SCHOOL FOR 4th GRADE, AND I CAN'T WAIT! KIERAN WILL BE MOVING TO PORT COLDEN SCHOOL FOR 1st GRADE. I'LL BE CHEERING FOR THE PEE-WEE FOOTBALL LEAGUE AGAIN, AND I JUST BRIDGED FROM BROWNIE GIRL SCOUTS TO JUNIOR GIRL SCOUTS. THIS YEAR HAS BEEN FUN. (AND I LOST A LOT OF TEETH THIS YEAR!)
We are going on vacation to Washington D.C. the week of July 20th. I'm excited to go. Maybe we will see the President!?! We might also go camping to Hershey, PA in August for my birthday. It will be fun to tour the Hershey Chocolate Factory and go to Hershey Park. I love the roller coasters... THE BIGGER THE BETTER!
2003-2004
Fourth grade was really GREAT! My teacher, Mr. Margolin, was really nice. I had a great time cheering for the Pee-Wee Football team this past fall. I am also in Junior Girl Scouts. We had our cookie sale and I was the 2nd highest seller in my troop (326 boxes!) I also got my hair cut above my shoulders just after Christmas (over 6 inches off!) I'm looking forward to the summer off. I want to go camping at Cedar Point, Ohio and go to the Cedar Point Park - they have 16 roller coasters!! I really love riding roller coasters!
2004-2005
Well, we didn't get to go to Cedar Point Park this summer. Daddy had a really tough work schedule that only gave him 1 day off every 10 days. We didn't go camping at all. We did get to go to The Land of Make Believe. They have a super waterpark! Mom said that we may get season passes for next year. That will be fun. The park is only 20 mins from our house! We also went to Camel Beach Water Park in the Poconos. The air was chilly, but the water was nice. Kieran and I really liked the wave pool. We did get to go camping at Appalachian Campground in October. I was dressed as a hippie for trick-or-treating.
I didn't sign up for cheerleading this year, but I am still in Junior Girl Scouts. Fifth grade has been good so far. I like my teacher, Mrs. Baxendale. She is really nice.
