Da Boyz!
Whenever we go to conferences anywhere in North America, a lot of people want to know about Winnipeg. Like I mean we've got some pretty awesome people here in this little city in the middle of nowhere, alhamdulilah. Most people don't know about the jems we've got hidden away here in the 'peg. But I'll talk about something that every city should have and it’s a main reason as to why I like Winnipeg so much. Well, it's the brother hood we have amongst us here. (I'm a big Akhoowa kinda guy…always up for an akhoowa hallaqa… wouldn't mind having an akhoowee hallqa but that’s for my mom to worry about). But I gotta admit.. the ole skool brotherhood is lacking and I guess its our own fault. But here's a link to the

I try hanging out with as many of da boyz as possible, but I guess my main crew is the PTM crew, Zafer Mian, Ferhan Huda, Omar Nasim, Salmon Qureshi, and Ghazali Warsi! We've had some pretty funny and memorable times together, and all I gots ta say is.. PTM ZINDBAD. Another crew is the Cali crew, Faisal Ashraf, Rehan Ahmad, and Sajid Rafiq (Sajid didn't go with us.. but his legacy of F street still lived on when we went.. oh ya.. and the native Mexican's remembered the Guy Smiley dude on the dance floor!). And then there's the Arab dudes.. that being all the Grad students at the U of M! slick dawgs in their own class!
Oh ya… the retreat boyz!!! For those who don't know, there was this month education retreat held here in Winnipeg last summer. Some awesome speakers and participants came out! I gotta admit, it made the summer.. well next to my homeboy Amer Iqbal and Bhabi Erum (Pabs
