SPORTS
Well I'm really into sports and stuff. Its not an addiction or anything, it just that I like following up or watching sports. Mind you I also like playing a lot of sports too!
My ultimate favorite sport is hockey--the fastest game on earth! I used to play organized ice hockey back in my younger days, but then I got busy with school and stuff. I played defense and wore the number 14! I was that offensive minded defense man. Now I just school the boyz when we get together for some boot hockey. Being raised in Winnipeg obviously I had to like the Winnipeg Jets until they moved to Phoenix. I guess the Coyotes are an okay team, I mean they got some good players and all, but who can top the ole skool Doug Smail, Laurie Boshman, and the Budha himself…Randy Carlyle. Lets not forget Dale Hawerchuck, Jim Kyte, and Paul McLean!! Hahahhah yes the good ole Winnipeg Jets with Pockey and the Bandit! But now I like the Colorodo Avalance. Props definitely go out to Joe Sakic for staying with the Nords back in Quebec. He didn't sell out like Lindros! Check out this site for a

I'm also down with basketball, football, soccer (can't wait till the world cup!), tennis, and like anything else that's interesting. I go nuts when playoff time comes. Man it got really bad this year. The super bowl was during Ramadan. Well, on that Sunday all the boyz were invited to Jawad's crib for iftar, and well J don't have a TV! So Illyas and I went back to my crib, grabbed my tube and watched some of the game at J's. At around isha time Jawad kicked us out so we had to go back to my place. Well we watched the game, but we missed Isha and taraweeh! Not that bad huh ..you say.. well, that night was one of the nights that could have been laylatul qadr! Man we suck! Frigen missed taraweeh on Laylatul Qadr b/c of the Superbowl! Worst part was that 
lost!
I also played cricket! Yes cricket! We made our own team called DESI, and we were pretty good for beginners. Actually we won the junior league for two years. I got the bowling trophy and also a batting trophy. I was asked to play for the provincial junior team. That year they were going to Toronto, but as stupid as I am I gave that up to go to Calgary to visit my relatives! What a mistake I must say (sorry to diss y'all in Calgary but oh well..that’s life!).
Right now I'm working out with Zafer Mian. We worked out a few years back at the Y. But then the MCAT came and we didn't go back ever since. But now we've gotten into the grove of things and insha'Allah we'll keep it up! (notice.. public commitment.. very powerful stimuli -- Sande's Social Pysch… remember Saima heheh ).
