God's tears fell from heaven today...
Cold and sad upon my cheek...
Somber gray the sky...
Anguished over the hatreds of man...
Slowly streaming down...
Falling gentle upon the ground...
Watering the flowers of spring...
Lighting the way of hope...
Eternal in the color it brings...
It rained today...
God's tears from heaven
