Tips on how to survive a college exam

1. Always prepare any caffeinated drink. It will help expecially when staying up all night long cramming.

2. Try to study with a buddy, preferably someone you don't hang out with most of the time because you'll only probably talk the whole time you're supposed to be studying. Believe me, I know!

3. Borrow some other class' previous tests on the particular subject. It helps.

4. Make sure you have all the materials you need ready and easy to reach. This to avoid borrowing materials you already have but forgot at home or going back to the locker wasting valuable time.

5. And let's not forget, study! Believe me, this works! I know there are some people who says that even if you study everything, you can still fail an exam. But what are the chances of that happening? 1 out of what? How many possible outcomes are there when you take a test? Let's see, it's either you pass or...fail? Well, that's still 1 out 2!

6. Oh yeah! And don't forget to go to the Library. It's the best place to study. Lots of books only a few steps away, an atmosphere "conducive" to studying and, if you're library is equipped with an aircon, no sweat!

Tips on how to survive college life at the Ateneo

1. When you're already in college, no one restricts you from doign what you want to do not like in high school. If you want to cut a class, you can. But the problem is, if you want to survive college, you have to cut back on these things. Do show up for your classes and try to submit everything your professor assigned you to submit in order to pass his class.

2. If you can, try to fit in at least one gimik every month or at least every two months. This is to avoid going insane! Don't go overboard on the gimiks, though. You might not survive.

3. Always carry money in your wallet, filo, or whatever. You'll need it because of, believe it or not, xerox. Xerox will eat all your mo-ney!

4. If you're studying at the Ateneo, try to keep your QPI above 1.6. Because if you don't, well, good bye Ateneo ka na!
