Movies and Music I Find To Be Better than My Brother's
Ok this is where I tell you what I think are the greatest movies and music.
In movies, I find the best 3 are Clerks, Mallrats, and Chasing Amy. My personal favorite is Mallrats, I don't know why but any movie that has "bickety bam," "snootchie bootchie nootchies" and the phrase "I'd do it but I pulled my back out humping your mom last night, NOOCH!" in it is cool. I love the Cousin Walter stories in Clerks and Mallrats and in fact those 2 cds are great soundtracks to own. At the moment I only own Mallrats, but I want to own Clerks soon, so if you know me there is something that would make me not kick your ass on my birthday.
Other movies I enjoy include: Blues Brothers and Blues Brothers 2000, The Jerk, Spies Like Us, Fargo, any movie that has appeared on Mystery Science Theatre 3000, Star Wars Trilogy, James Bond flicks (Scott is the biggest fan, especially of Mary Goodnight), all Star Trek movies except for the first one, that one sucked terribly and the only way it could be saved is to have it shown on MST3K so they can rag it to death.
In music, my favorite band would have to be Smashing Pumpkins. Coming very close is a tie between Ben Folds Five (been a fan for 4 years), and the Violent Femmes. I love Primus, Tool, Ammonia and all sorts of bands. My biggest genre of music as of the past year and a half is electronic music. One of my favorite songs is Orbital with Halcyon, the live version. I don't know but if you can actually find a good use for Jon Bon Jovi's You Give Love a Bad Name then you have to be awesome. If you want to hear it you will have to buy their In-Sides cd. It's great. I also have become a big fan of Juno Reactor. If you like dance music mixed with congas, bongos, electric guitar, and other cool instruments, then pick up their 3rd album, Bible of Dreams. It's by far the best techno album of the year. I also love Aphex Twin. Anyone that can make a song out of instruments he makes himself has got to be great. My favorite album of his is ....I care because you do. My friend Matt Kennedy introduced that album to me
ever since I've loved all his albums. He's very cool. My mission in life is to find him and hang out with him and learn all I can from him.
Ok, today, june 2nd is going to be my favorite day of the year by far. Smashing Pumpkins new cd, Adore, just came out and i woke up real early this morning to buy it. I love it, and i don't care how many people say that they suck now, cause they don't. You just have to open your horizons and you will see that they are probably the greatest band ever. Anyways, if you get a chance to buy this cd then do it now. It's just so kick ass that I can't describe it. I think my favorite song right now is Apples + Oranjes, but every song on here is cool. If you get a chance to listen to the radio this summer try to listen to my show, cause i am probably going to be doing it this summer at the KXRJ radio station 91.9 fm in russellville. I wasn't going to but i have nothing else to do this summer and i think i want to do it, even if Kirk is the manager, yuck. So go to KXRJ's web page and you can listen to it if you have real audio or whatever. I don't know when my show is but i will find out tomorrow so i will let you know. Well just wanted to say Smashing Pumpkins kick ass, and when i get some more time i am going to finish up a page that i've started for them.
Last night, June 26, I went to Hastings (now becoming a really good music store since the old music manager (mother of Hanson ripoff kids) quit. The new guy that took the place kicks ass, i met him last night and he is going to change the store into the kick ass store it should be. He lowered prices on all the used cd's, i bought the Urge's new cd, Master of Styles, for only 3 dollars and it's a killer album if you have a chance pick it up. Anyways back to why I'm writing this, this new guy introduced me to this great band, Mox, and I love their cd. They are from San Francisco and they have done work on movies and things like that. They mix guitars, synthesizers, bag pipes, drums, etc... on their album and every song is great. If you have a chance to get it, then buy it. It's Mox: Mox. Well that's about all I have to say right now. I'll write some other stuff later. I should be putting some new pictures on here someday soon so check back. Go back to my main page.
Well I will have more to add later. Hope you enjoyed this.
I hate Hanson and if you want to hear what I wish should happen to them, then double click on this
