Last summer, I had the privalege to attend our church's mission trip to Kentucky. We were there for a week and our team went to work on this really nice family's house. Our assignment was to add stability to the house and then dig a drainage ditch to go behind their house. We had fun the entire week working and I became friends with a lot of people i didn't know very well at first. I met a lot of people from various places, such as Wisconsin, Florida, and Ohio. We stayed in this junior high school and our meals consisted of many things. I found out ground up turkey can go a long way. I've never eaten so much turkey. Oh well, i will have to add some pictures here to show you what all we did. The only thing i have right now is our group picture shown here

this is a picture that has a funny story behind it. We went to see a bluegrass band play and this guy, rod, was the bassist. Well everytime he would have a solo, he'd play real weird and make this goofy look, and if you have seen the pic of Laura and me you can see the weird look cause I ended up doing that face the rest of the mission trip, mainly to make Laura mad, haha. Thats cause after the weird look, it seemed like he would wink at her.
This picture was taken on the way home. In the back are Dean and Silas, in the middle are me and Yanci, and in the front is Chris.
