Yeah, I know what you were all thinking. No, not those kinds of pictures!
It's pretty self-explanatory. Just me next to my Christmas tree this past January.
The newest member of the Sanidad clan - Miranda Grace Sanidad.
My beautiful nieces - the princesses of the family. Cassandra (Belle) is four and Brianna (Cinderella) is three. They're expecting another sister, Miranda, this coming April, but for now, they rule the family.
This is my family - before my nieces. From left to right: there's my brother (Rich), Carrie (his wife), me, my mom, and my dad.
This is from my friend's prom. That's Chris Arcedera. I can't remember when we met because adults don't usually remember that far back. I'm posting this because I want people to know how much I really miss him. Chris passed away from cancer on May 9, 1998. He was 21. I love him as one of my dearest friends and I know I'll never forget him.
Ah, the look of innocence. I don't know why, but I've always liked the way I looked as a baby. And that's my brother, too.
It's actually a cute story. When I was young, my grandparents lived with me. One of my fondest memories is when they used to tell me about the wild rabbits that would visit our yard in the early morning. I would get upset because I couldn't wake up early enough to see them. Once in a while, my grandmother would wake me up and take me into her room, while my grandfather would be standing outside in the backyard. They would point out the baby rabbits to me, using my grandfather as a reference point. Back in 2002, both of my grandparents passed away. My grandfather was first and when I went home to Cherry Hill to help my parents pack for the trip to the Philippines, there was a baby rabbit sitting in my front yard. I spent at least 20 minutes watching it and taping it with a digital camcorder. I can't help but believe that my grandfather was with that rabbit, trying to comfort me during a very difficult time.
