All About Kristen

I was born in Ft Collins, Co at Poudre Valley Hospital on December 8, 1974, which I guess would make me 24 now...(am I really that old??) I was born and raised in Loveland, Co. and have lived there all my life, with the exception of a few years away at college in Oklahoma, Kansas, and a brief stay in Arizona for a few months.

I'll spare you all the gory details about my life, but I will tell you I was born and raised in a Christian home with high morals and values. My parents are Dawn and Dwight Carlson, great parents, and I have one brother, Kevin, who turned 21 in February. Last year my parents celebrated their 25th wedding anniversary in Hawaii...something they have been planning and saving up for for quite sometime. They had a wonderful time and we have been hearing about it ever since!! :-) Someday I do plan on getting there.

Currently I work at Colorado State University as an admissions counselor. I really enjoy it, although it can be very busy and stressful at times...but I always love a challenge!! My mom also works at CSU as the graduate admissions coordinator for the Social Work department. She has been there for five years now, and really loves her job.

My dad is an employee at Woodward Governor Company and has been for over 25 years now...I'm not sure of the exact number of years, I'll have to ask him. But he is a government contracts administrator He worked as an accountant there for a number of years, then decided he needed a change and became a purchasing agent, and now he does what he does.

My brother, Kevin, just went on an adventure to Seattle Washington with one of his friends for three weeks, and came back about a month ago. In February, he will be embarking on a wonderful adventure to Mozambique, Africa. He will be going with a church group on a missions trip and will be helping build dorms at a University there.

For fourteen great years, I had a wonderful little puppy dog, named Fritz. He was a dachshund, and was a part of the family. It wouldn't be right for me not to mention him in my biography. He died two years ago on Valentines Day and I still miss him.

Now I live back up in Fort Collins with my roommate, Summer, and two wonderful little kitties that are the light of my life right now. Jimmie (who is a calico and about 2 months old) and Tag, who looks like a Tiger and is about 2 years old. They are so precious and make me laugh all the time!!

I just had a wonderful and recent addition to my life. I was fortunate enough to have met an amazing man named Sean who has managed to make me happier than I have been in a long time. Thank you, sweetie, for being you and for coming into my life!! :-)

In addition to all of this, I also have many wonderful relatives who have made my life interesting and fun, to say the least! Tons of cousins, aunts, uncles, grandparents, etc....have made life bearable for the past 24 years and I couldn't close my bio without mentioning them! You all know who you are, and I LOVE YOU!!!!

Well, I guess that's it for now. Thanks for listening to me babble about the most important people in my life!! =))
