How this "family" became a family.....
OK...here's the scoop...I know you're saying to yourself, "WOW...this girl has a lot of sisters..." WELL...in a different kind of way, I do. But not in the way you're thinking. We weren't born into this family. We created it. All of us girls met on Dustin's Days Page about a year ago. At the time, Dustin had different chat boards. One for discussing just Days of Our Lives issues, and one called a "Friends Board" where people could discuss whatever they wanted. Well, we all became real good friends on that board, and one day, the "mother types" on the board, decided to "adopt" the younger women on the board. So, there are several "mothers", which created daughters, sisters, cousins, neices, etc... This may not make any sense, but that's how it is. All of the girls you see on my Internet Friends page are part of my "family". There are several others, as well that I don't have pics for, but they are equally important to me. We have all kept in touch now for over a year, and they are all wonderful girls/women!! Some of the links to their homepages are on my Internet Friends page, but I'm going to include their links again, here, as well as the ones I don't have pics for. So, here they are:
Wendy's Homepage--Wendy is my twin sister: we both are 5'5", blonde hair, blue eyes, born in the same month, and have an incredible amount in common. Thus, the "twin sister" classification! :-)
Jennifer's Home Page--Jennifer is a "cousin". She is Gail's daughter, who is my "aunt".
Amy's Place--Amy is another "sister" of mine. We are all "daughter's" of Maggie.
The "I love Lisa" Lisa Page--Lisa is another "cousin", "daughter" of Gail. Her homepage was created by her boyfriend, Christian.
Colleen's Homepage--Colleen is another "aunt" of mine.
Abi's Homepage--Abi is another "sister" and great friend. She just created her homepage, too, so check hers out!!
Jeannie's Homepage--Jeannie's my "sis" also, and although I am not positive on her homepage address (need to get that from her), and she has a beautifully done homepage. As soon as I get it from her, I'll add it!!
Well, think that's it for now. Maybe it's a little more clear to you now on why I refer to these people as my "sisters", "cousins", etc.etc. Some people think it's wierd, but we don't. They're a great part of my life, and I'm glad I have them. They've helped me through many things this year, and I love 'em!!! =)))
