*...A Tribute To My Mama!...* This page is in loving memory of my Mother,
Ellan Broussard June 12, 1929 - March 29, 1999

*...First, I would like to thank you for taking the time out for reading this! On this special day. March 29,1999 My Mama, passed away of natural causes. I am sure you are probably wondering what am I talking about. Why is this day so special? Well let me explain myself! I know my Mama, is no longer in pain, and I can feel the smile on her face. In addition, I know my Mama, is now shareing her sweetness with her love ones, so deep in the sky. She is sharing it with the mother she missed so much, she is sharing it with my cousins: Cecil Hufman, Rhonda May's, her friend Willie Jordan, my other Mama, Phyllis Johnson just to name a few. "ALL OF YOU ARE SOLDIER'S SO DEEP IN THE SKY" You see I can remember about seven or eight years ago when my Mama had to have an operation on her leg. And she told me, "when she was in the hospital I remember looking at this bright light and hearing this beautiful music then she felt someone pounding on her chest and calling her name Ellan, Ellan, she wakeup damn she said" "She was upset because she wanted to go into that light". I do not know if anyone here is a military brat ot not, so it may be hard for you to understand, so I will try to make this as plain as possible. my uncle Clarel calls himself a solder. Some people they consider my uncle handicap! Well how do you define handicap? Because you cannot hear, you cannot do what you need to do to make it in life. I do not think so, my uncle holds his own, because he is a soldier! This person, you may no her as Ellan, I known her as Mama, she is a true soldier, she has been on the battlefield of life, and she has been on the battlefields of health! I known for a fact my Mama the most unselfish person I have ever known, was very unhappy in the battlefields of health, Can you imagine yourself sufficient, holding your own in life, then all of sudden you can't. a lot of us would have given up! However, not this woman she did not give up on the battlefields of life nor health, although she was unhappy! Do you remember that light she seen back in the day? I am so proud to call this woman Mama, I am so proud to call this woman soldier! "I am so proud to call this woman soldier" "I hope someday someone can call you out there soldier" I hope someday someone can call me solder just like his Mama.I hope someday someone even if it's only one person, can call all of us soldier! "God bless you Mama soldier, I'm sure you're happy now and you will always be the soldier in my eyes".!...*
