Hi there, my name is Leslie and I'm glad you stopped by! I'm a BBW, a southern lady, a customer service manager, an amateur poet, and a divorced mom of four. I live in southern Georgia, fondly known as 'almost Florida'. My best friends, Lori, Lydia and Tracey live in three DIFFERENT states, and Georgia is not one of them, so I'm always happy to make new friends. I adore music, theater, concerts, museums, bookstores (Barnes and Noble RULES!), bargain-hunting (especially on eBay!) and movies.�I have a vast CD collection due to my rather eclectic musical tastes. I enjoy cooking, especially when I have an appreciative palate to delight.�I also enjoy dining out and I fear I am addicted to The Olive Garden! I have a�voracious appetite for the things about which I am passionate, one of which is reading. I will read just about anything if I'm hard-pressed for reading material, (this includes, but is not limited to, sale ads and the backs of cereal boxes!) however mysteries are my favorite, notably Sue Grafton and Patricia Cornwell. Early in 2003, I embarked on an exciting journey to discover a healthier me, and to that end, I recently realized my dream of having Weight Loss Surgery (BPD/DS) on 3/9/04! I am very lucky to be part of an active, AMAZING local support group. I have four WONDERFUL sons: Ryan, 22, who recently enlisted in the United States Navy and is stationed on the USS George Washington; Scott, 18, an aspiring music video creator, songwriter and high school senior; Matthew, 19, my comedian, who is currently stationed with the United States Air Force at McConnell AFB in Kansas with his lovely bride, Christine; and my youngest son, Alexander, 16, an afficionado of 'Magic, The Gathering', lives with his dad a couple of hours away. They are the lights of my life and will ALWAYS be my babies, no matter how grown they think they are! I enjoy meeting new people and would love to hear from you. Music and comedy are my favorite passions so fellow fans of Trisha Yearwood, Norah Jones, Shelby Lynne, Staind, American Idol's own Clay Aiken, Mary-Chapin Carpenter, Bonnie Raitt, k d lang, Sarah McLachlan, Kathy Mattea, Better Than Ezra, Matchbox 20 (aka Tabitha's Secret), Chris Isaak, the talented comedian Brian Regan, and the FANTABULOUS� Eddie Izzard are especially welcome! Fans of "Monk", "The L Word", "Queer as Folk", "Charmed" or "Dead Like Me" will find a kindred spirit here. If you can quote lines from "The Princess Bride", "Young Frankenstein" or "Office Space", we should definitely talk! I wouldn't turn away Nicholas Cage or Adrian Paul fans either (pant, pant!). :-P
