HAPPY PURPLE BIRTHDAY
I knew your Birthday was coming.
I didn't know what to do.
Confusion in thoughts of buying,
Just the right gift for you.
I wanted to buy you flowers,
But money was alittle tight.
I even thought of stealing them,
But knew that wasn't right.
So I headed for the dreadful mall,
Just to look around,
Nine hours later,
A lava lamp was all I found.
So I'm walking through that parking lot,
And I kicked an empty can,
Out popped a genie,
To lend a helping hand.
He suggested; take her dancing,
Or sing her a catchy tune,
Whatever you decide,
You better do it soon.
He just kept on yapping,
He wouldn't shut his mouth.
So I did the smartest thing,
I kicked that tin can south.
Now I'm still in that parking lot,
With nothing in my hand.
I couldn't decide on a single thing.
No gift, idea or plan.
Then suddenly it occured to me,
I could make this perfect gift.
Soon all around me,
The clouds began to lift.
I rushed right home,
My computer knew what to do.
I started to look for purple things,
To make a web page for you.
Now you have this purple page,
To look at when your down,
And think of some of the fun times shared,
In this friendship that we found.
Have a great Birthday !!!
