Thank you all so much for you wonderful support!
My name is Jennifer Lynn. On December 17, 1998 when I was 23, I had a stroke in my spinal cord due to an AVM bleed from T-6 thru T-8. I was paralyzed on the right side of my body. After extreme physical therapy I learned to walk, brush my hair, tie my shoes, bathe without help, and brush my own teeth.Ê I had surgery to try and remove the AVM and the blood clot. They removed the blood clot but as for the AVM, it is still there! I was told that surgery was not a choice for me now.
I can walk! Over all..I can walk.
I have extreme pain from the surgery and will most likely never work again. During the surgery they removed one of my ribs on the right side(T-7) to get to the AVM..every since that rib removal my life has been only pain. I have a large hump on my spine next to the spinal surgery site. It swells badly when I am in pain. It sweats and it very cold..No heat at all around the rib removal.. I will post my pictures from surgery soon. This is why my life is so painful!
The Specialist say they have no idea what is wrong with me..My doctor said he is now treating my pain as if I had "Bone Cancer". I am still in search for a cure for my pain. This is only a short part of my story.  Thank you!.
