Life is a great circle, a never ending cycle from birth to death to rebirth.  The moon, like All My Relations that live upon this Earth Mother passes through different phases.  When your Spirit chooses to incarnate upon this Earth you are born into a particular Moon Phase.

With each phase of the Moon (13 all together) there are particular mineral, plant and animal totems that go along with it.  There are also Ancient Spirit Clan Mothers that bring their attributes and lessons to each Moon phase period.

The Moon also governs the flow of the tides and emotions.  With Her comes the Illumination that our spirit and heart may need when going through great periods of darkness and dis-ease.  She shows us the way and lights our path.   She shows us the light at the tunnel that can be birthed out of great darkness.  She is gentle but yet powerful and balanced.  She is the Moon.
