Well, the first thing I would have to say about myself and fishing is that I am what most
call a "weekend angler". Pretty much the highlight of me and my fishing partners work week is
the Saturday or Sunday fishing trip. In this page I am going to indulge some of the equipement,
tackle, favorite fishing holes, and links to all the great fishing pages I have found on the Internet.
Well, first and foremost, here is the equipement and tackle I use.
Well, I have been using Mitchell Rods & Reels since I was nine or ten years of age,
purchasing my first reel (a Mitchell 300a) and now that I am twenty-eight I find that I am
still addicted to them. Never once has a Mitchell Rod or Reel let me down!!! My favorite
Mitchell Reels are the 300 "Excellence" spinning reels (first series), a 400 "Excellence" baitcaster and a Copperhead series MCH20 on a "Fulcrum" rod.
Among my favorite lures are first and foremost Rebel Crawdads. I swear by them! Sometimes I wish there was a camera
behind me when I am using them because I swear it would be a perfect endorsement. I NEVER fail to catch not only a lot of bass, but good size bass (of course I do start fishing at the break of dawn). Other favorite lures are Culprit worms (any color will suffice), Heddon Torpedo's (again any color and size, though I am particular to the black with white stripes), Powerbait grubs (I have the most luck with the "pumkin seed"), and as always, live bait such as lizards, minnows, helgrimites, crawfish, and last but not least...the always reliable NIGHTCRAWLER!!!

Here is a decent channel catfish I caught the summer of '96.
I am the fellow on the right (tall one in the fatigues),
and the guy on the left is one of my friends who also doubles as my fishing partner!
Here are a couple of good pages for the angler.
