When Second Wind's web page was first established, there was a picture
of the band with the names and instruments of each band member beneath
the picture. Everybody had "...and vocals" under their names,
except for the drummer, Don Hill, who doesn't sing. It looked pretty
vacant with just "Drums" under his picture so something had to be done.
Recalling some of the liner notes of albums from the 60's, the term "spiritual
advisor" was added - tongue in cheek - as a bit of fun. However,
it has developed into much more than that over the years. The illustration
below is a graphic depiction of what these responsiblities involve.
Basically, it amounts to channeling the karma of each band member into
a central, powerful force (represented by the sun) and through the application
of ancient and mystical (non-satanic) rites, this karma is converted through
the drums into doves of peace and released as "rock and roll" music.
Scroll down and............Enjoy.
