The bunch got together after the split up of Alcohol and survived all obstacles of the hard bulgarian underground, but however BRAINSTORM went on with live playing and thus made themselves a cult throughout the extreme society. Today, at last, they make their long-awaited longplaying crush... PIECES FROM REALITY is higlhy valuable not only for its might, but its versatility as well. The tracks are definitely what you'd expect when you get across quality melodic, progressive, power, death metal. This fact is direct consequence of the broad influences of BRAINSTORM - starting from DEATH, CARCASS and DEICIDE, through METALLICA (the good years), to EDGE OF SANITY and AMORPHIS, but also due to the fact that the final product turns out somewhat personal and we even have a song in bulgarian with a title in french - C'est La Vie.
