The Workin' Stiff

This kickass band started sometime in 1996 out in sunny California ('Frisco Bay area, to be exact). The band consists of Dave on vocals, Mike on guitar and vox, Kevin on bass and vox, and Eric beating the skins. They play very traditional Oi! music and are heavily influenced by all those British bands you know and love such as Sham, Sparrer...oh, you know damn well who I mean. Now there are a lot of bands that say they're influenced by the early British Oi!, but the Workin' Stiffs sound, musically, like their from the early '80s. However, don't let that frighten you into thinking that Dave tries to sing like a limey. No no no...British influenced these guys may be, but American they are, through and through. Check them out if you can (if you're on the East Coast you're screwed because I don't think they've made it out here, yet).
