never knowin never carin,
not too much about where ive been
a thought that occurs
may never have been without the time you took
this time that was suspended
into what i never took the time to think about

who knows where ill be tomorrow?
who knows, who really cares?

never knowin when the last day will be
never seemin' to believe
don't it scare you to think, that this life of ours
will never be what we always thought we mighta wanted

todays day will never come unless we think about tomorrow
and tomorrow's dreams are never achieved w/o sorrow and pain
is it the pain we take that makes us this way?

or is it the thoughts of retribution
that have their ways to kill the time
that we never thought would ever emerge?

knowin not who we are
is not the way things are supposed to be
knowin not day to day
how we are gonna get through this thing called life

whosoever does this shall not be cursed
but instead shall be enlightened
to what it is that is really there
and how do we know what is there
unless we take the time to explore?

do we dare?

do we take the chance of failure
in hopes of achievement?
or do we go about livin the way its always been?
how do we make this thought become reality
or how do we distinguish
between what is and what could be?

the thoughts we know to be true
are only as close as we let them become
and do we dare?
dare to live what we always wanted to?

fulfill our dreams
and hope and pray that it will become reality?
or do we stay where we are
in hopes of these dreams coming true in time?

these questions are pondered
throughout the time and the continuum of our minds...
